Do not use this store for In Post parcels. Collection or delivery. They do not know how to process them. I was first told there had been no delivery of any parcels, even though I could see some on a shelf. They demanded a barcode but told me it wasn’t working so wouldn’t give me my parcels. I asked them to try the code on a text message. Took a while but got there in the end. Shop keeper was very rude, made me feel it was my fault and didn’t apologise when I worked out which number he needed to use. Incompetent staff! I have been before and had no problem, so I suppose it’s who you get on the day! I won’t use them again now.

Although this business has left a sour taste (bad milk) - I'll try best to keep this as factual as possible without opinion.

Check the names of the people leaving 5* reviews - owners and associates quite obviously.

Most importantly as someone could get ill: PLEASE CHECK THE DATES ON FOOD YOU GET FROM THE FRIDGES. Several times I have seen food & milk in the fridges which is over a week out of date.

The shop is just dirty & dilapidated with barely any aisle space, it needs a good deep clean and some renovation.

Expect the milk to go out of date a good few days before the date on the bottle, not sure why, this may be no fault of the shop.

Expect to pay way above the odds for anything which doesn't include manufacturer RRP price on the packet.

Check the dates on EVERYTHING. Even new stock is close to the best before date, I suspect that the owner is buying this stock at a discount, but not passing those savings on.

Selling multipack cans, although this I believe is OK, they're being sold at full price of normal cans.

Mr. Singh (senior) - extremely rude, cannot stress this enough.

They got into trouble recently for stealing electric.

The paypoint regularly gets switched off due to owners not paying the bill. Means people can't top up their gas / electric if they are on meters etc.

The cash machine inside is just for decoration, rarely filled.

Stock is erratic, and sometimes months without cigarettes, beer etc.

The only thing good about the shop is Lee, the guy they employ.

EDIT: One thing to add - the large biffa bin is kept at the front of the shop on the main road, regularly overflowing, regularly spilling out and littering the street, smells awful as you'd expect.
