My first time staying at a hostel, my stay was great the hostel was lovely. The lady on reception was super helpful, my little dorm room was fine, so much better than camping, bike store so no worries there, used the self catering kitchen all so clean, can't recommend highly enough. Stay bank Holiday Monday August 2024.

Staff were fantastic and more than accommodating when we were running a bit late. Very helpful and knowledgeable about Ingleton. Quaint and cheap little place, ideal if you want to explore the area .

Cool location with hills and a waterfall trail however a bit expensive for a small hostel, wasn't fond of the rooms as the tap water was undrinkable and I also found a thorn in my bed, to add, the shower kept switching off after 5 seconds. Was okay after that.

It's a really great place to stay with some amazing views, a bit tricky to get to but that's hardly an issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful, everything was clean and the facilities were great. Would recommend 👍

We cannot express in words quite how enjoyable our stay was at his hostel but I’ll try.

The location on the hillside of Ingleton was sublime, just close enough to the shops for a speedy takeaway order, and just far away enough from the hubbub of the village to enjoy peaceful tranquility.

The room was amazing , with views out over the lawn. The cozy lounge room and modern dinning hall were a fantastic place to socialise with ample room for distancing.

Nigel, the yha staff working during our stay, was an absolute legend of the highest order. He made us feel very welcome, and gave us tips about the local footpaths and businesses that were invaluable.

Similarly, the local swimming spots were absolutely beautiful and gave me a sense of wonder that I rarely have experienced throughout my weathered days.

I would love to return again soon.

A great location on the edge of the North York's peaks, settling into the little hamlet of Ingleton with a good mix of shops, outdoor pool and climbing wall. Nigel looked after us magnificently with some hearty food on the first night. Communal kitchen was good for cooking our own meals, with large dining room for meeting others, & good views over the trees towards viaduct. Warm clean hostel for families and outdoor adventurers alike. Waterfall walk will cost you £6 over private land, but worth it in my opinion. Feel refreshed after walking some great routes.

Only quibble of the hostel is the showers, which are a little "cool", not penetrating my bones inside my tired body. Never felt warmed through after a shower, yet the kitchen hot taps were dangerously hot. Perhaps the temperature control could be improved. Will be back to test the showers again!!

I have stayed in many Hostals in my time and I have never been made to feel more welcome than here. Paul and Tony are hard working and conscientious to make my stay enjoyable and stress free. The place is very clean and well equipped all you could need. Iam coming back in 3 weeks time after my bike gets repaired but that’s another story
