As a student here I would not recommend sending your kids here. Many people have be bullied and teachers haven't done anything. During lesson you're refused the right to go to the toilet. I have a story of me and somebody I this school whom I wont name, he falsely reported me and I got searched, this happens to many people and it's caused me trauma, DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL.

Horrible school! Teachers cannot control situation and school feels more like prison then school!
Teacher are also bullies and give student anxieties!
I would not recommend this school even to my worst enemy!
Parents got no say and if they try its all being taken out on pupils.
I will be defiantly making official complaint to my local authorities!

Both my children attended WVC and like a lot of schools providing food choices for teens to eat is a challenge. Of set the problem with parents being able to afford school meals in current economy of inflated food prices. Perhaps WVC would consider pupil engagement for each year group and sit down with a dietician on coming up with a better menu to set them up with choices similar to the programme, 'Eat well for less'.

Useless website.
Tried to search for evening classes but , nothing. Tried to contact them with a message but my telephone number ( mandatory ) was not allowed by their system allowed for some ludicrous reason.
If this is the standard of computer knowledge and website building here then the whole educational efficiency of this institution looks lousy.

LIKE PRISON. no talk at lunch. teacher have to walk around the corridor with you all day. we can not be on are own.The food is more expensive than king's per term.there are no toilets. there only for teachers. Most the teachers don't even speak English. DON'T SEND YOUR KID HERE!!!!!!!

On the one hand, I'm pleased that WVC achieved a 'good' at a recent Ofsted inspection. I am still mystified how this was achieved, as someone has taught here in the past, I was amazed at general pupil behaviour, which was lacking to say the least. 'Lapping' was still prevalent, as it had been years ago, I had Year 10 and 11 pupils swearing at me when I removed them from class, throwing a tantrum and walking out, and best of all, some year 11 kid, who should have been in the special unit, simply turning up to my class for a bit of banter then walking out after a few minutes.
Chris Terry is a nice guy and good luck to him. He does however, need to take a look at the performance of some of his management team, for example, get the 'Business Manager' to start networking and get commercial investment in the school IT which was woefully lacking when I was there ( I got pieces of keyboard flying past my face when trying to tame a feisty Year 11 class once...), Language dictionaries and Art equipment.
Also, Sue Taylor, smile love. That constant mealy-mouthed look doesn't do you any favours...

I get bullied everyday infront of teachers and I decided I have had enough I retaliated and got a detention and they walk out all innocent do not send children here ever teachers do not do anything about bullying at all and in some lessons you are refused the right to use the toilets.

Not quite up to the standard at which it was advertised but but the locals were warming and friendly and they made the trip worth it.
My favorite thing about the trip had to be the food, loads of great restaurants would recommend to all looking for a peaceful weekend away
