If you are into toys or models in any form then Wroxham Miniature World is a must for you. There are a good range of miniature worlds to explore including lego, scalextric, hornby and even knitted! The latter is one of the most extraordinary and has to be seen to be believed.
The building is well laid out and full to the brim with interesting artefacts. It is quite clear the owners have a real passion for this hobby.
There are also fairly basic but enjoyable flight and train simulator programs.
Parking was easy and good, clean toilets are also available as are drinks and snacks and a chance to buy some models and equipment to carry on with at home.
All in all a great way to while away a few hours.

Lovely place to visit for a couple of hours, especially on a wet day.
The amount of work and enthusiasm that is put into the individual themes shows.
Some were knitted, some were trains, some cars and others made of lego.
There are displays of toys and characters from bygone children's programs, these were very nostalgic. As were the old fashioned fair and arcade machines.
There is also a lovely small cafe.
Would definitely revisit.

We booked this knowing my son would probably love it - we wasn't wrong...! We booked tickets via a promotion which made the admission fee far cheaper - for the four of us on usual prices we were looking close to £60, which is a bit of a pricey day out. It's worth looking online for vouchers, for example the visit Norfolk has 20% off, we got ours via Planet Offers which was closer to half price.

The Miniature World is located in some industrial units, with plenty of parking outside. There are various displays of model railway, a scalatrix track, lego display, flight / train sim (PC), and some arcade emulators. There is also an area with old seaside amusements, this was an extra charge £1 for 12 old pennies.

The kids loved looking round all the models, and my daughter enjoyed doing the activity sheet. There were a few buttons for them to press, and it would have been nice for them to have a few more set up where you can get involved but can appreciate thats easier said than done!

We probably spent about 2.5 / 3 hours here in total, and possibly would have spent longer but it was very cold (we wrapped up in coats!) My wife and I did need to break for a warm drink at one point before trying to finish the lego figure hunt with my daughter (very determined to finish this she was!)

It's also worth looking round the shop before you leave, unlike some attractions I thought the prices were very reasonable for some items. (Yes, I came away with a few little goodies...!)

Well worth a visit, especially if you / your kids love looking and watching model railways etc. Just make sure you take a look round for an offer to get yourself a few quid off... which you can then spend when you get there on drinks or models!

On the day we went there was a good discount for people from local postcodes. Well worth asking. Margaret's knitted scenes were outstanding! Loved all the other setups, well done!

While staying in West Somerton we visited this very delightful museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit as it has everything for all ages! Me and my husband definitely had a trip down memory lane. We were all extremely impressed with the knitting exhibition. We would go again and have recommended it to all. The little cafe inside was very reasonably priced. Also the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This place is fantastic. The variety of layouts was quite impressive and the quiz sheet kept my kids entertained throughout (even my 19yo daughter) the old-time arcade is a must and very entertaining.
It would benefit from a few hours TLC as some of the layouts are in need of a clean and re-set.

This place is amazing and fun for all the family.
I can so recommend a visit, adults can re-live their childhood and return to a world of wonder.
Once inside there are free to use vintage arcade/games consoles, from the 70s/80s and 90s.
Displays of toys from all era's and a fabulous section dedicated to purely Lego modelling.
