Great Ice rink!
Fantastic session for toddlers and babies. Good selection of skates and aids for kids. The availability of session only for toddlers and babies makes it so much better for others and the parents too.
Some refreshments available.
Garden centre as well if you want to get some bits. Great selection of songs and good size of the rink.

We had an amazing time ice skating, staff are very accommodating and friendly. We went to visit Santa after with our puppies. What a lovely experience, Santa was amazing, very chatty and had a cuddle with the puppies. The elf’s are the best, made our visit worthwhile. Lots of lovely memories made. This Garden centre has an amazing family feel, all the staff make you feel welcomed

Visited 29/12/24 Sunday at 12 noon toddler session. It was my first time with my 2 year old, we paid £16 for an adult and a toddler. This includes skates and penguins helpers. The staff was friendly and inviting. The only negative was the size of the ring and only 40 min for the session. I think the penguin helpers were only included FOC in the toddler session but was £5 extra if others want to hire in normal sessions. Overall it was good as my son was done after half an hour but I was not sure if I would drive 40 min for it. I had the choice of Oxford ice ring but didn't go as they are overpriced if you are not a member and everything is extra (like for penguins) and plus parking. So, this place is good for someone who wants a quick skate at a reasonable price and lives close.

We visited with our four children and niece, all of whom have different SEN needs, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Offering SEN sessions during the peak Christmas period at a sensible time was great, as this is often rare. The rink was quiet, accommodating, and welcoming—perfect for our family.

One of the highlights was being able to take our son onto the ice in his wheelchair, which made the experience truly inclusive. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. It was such a festive and heartwarming day, and all of the children had a wonderful time.

They’ve already asked to make this our new Christmas tradition, and we couldn’t agree more. Highly recommended for families looking for an inclusive and magical holiday activity!

What a perfect session we had! After being handed soaking wet skates for my 8year old I asked a staff member to change them for dry ones as my daughter is autistic and wouldn’t cope with them. The staff member looked baffled by my questions but they were swiftly changed and we were welcomed by whom I'm assuming was a manager. She said any problems just to go and see her. They understood my child’s needs and allowed us onto the ice a bit earlier whilst it wasn’t as busy.
She checked in a few more times throughout our experience. After our session we headed into the garden centre to look at the decorations and get a drink. The same staff member appeared again to show us where their drinks counter was at their shop rather than having to queue for the cafe.
The whole experience was 10/10 and the added extra from this staff member really helped. Thank you!

Was an amazing evening spending time with family. This was a fun first time experience for my daughter and son. It was also a birthday treat for our little girl and she loved it.

My daughter enjoyed the visit 30/11/24, 4pm slot, however the rink was very small and there were a lot of skaters for the size of the rink. The young girl who checked us in was rude, no greeting, didn’t say anything and continued to eat her snack while seeing to us. Unfriendly, unprofessional and such poor service.

It's a really good size to go to with young/inexperienced children. Our session was fully booked, but not overwhelming. The staff were really friendly too.
