What a lovely place! I have never been here before in my life!! (Why, I don't know 😂) But yeah my mum and I came this Wednesday 04/12/24 and it was really lovely with all the Christmas decorations and Christmas display and it's totally different to frosts! They even have a works art shop inside which I did enjoy looking at with me being an artist I liked looking at what they had in there and the canvases they had they had a pretty good selection. The food in the cafe was lovely and lovely staff! One thing I wasn't happy about though was they didn't have any hot chocolate as that's what I wanted to drink 😂.
The Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning and really nice to have a look at whilst walking around and they also have an aquarium! I fed the fish and it's £1 a pot which isn't bad really and I enjoyed feeding the fish, was also nice to see some fish.🐟
We always go to frosts and I was so surprised we have never came across this considering it's literally opposite frosts, thank you all for a fab experience it was so enjoyable 🩶

Really nice atmosphere around Christmas time. I was struggling with what to buy for my mum's partner but the Christmas shop provided all. I heartily recommend!
(Oh and nothing shouts Christmas like Santa on a Dinosaur 😂)

Visited here as a meeting point to see old friends while we were visiting the area. We were very impressed with the plants and the restaurant. We had a good meal, plenty of choice and pleasant staff. We were looking for some alpine plants for the rockery and there were loads to choose from. We felt the plants everywhere were well presented and easy to find. The plants appeared exceptionally well cared for.

This is our second year returning to the SEN Santa's Grotto.
I can honestly say it was even better this Year, and we thought last year was fab!
The staff are fantastic and perfectly in characters, the setting is Magical.
My daughter struggles with crowds and can get highly anxious, but she loves the calmness here, we don't feel like we're rushed through. It's such a beautiful well organised and personal approach.

My original 5* review was before my wife and I ate in the restaurant (which we did yesterday), and I feel compelled to downgrade based on the quality and value of the food.
Edit:
We popped in for a quick bite to eat and get a few plants (sadly all the sweet peas were gone, which is what we originally came in for). My wife chose the sausage roll and a pot of tea, I opted for the Caesar salad with an Americano. We were told that there was no chicken available (optional extra for the Caesar salad) - which I thought would be ok, because there would be an egg (I'm all about the protein currently).

When the food arrived I'm sorry to say that I was immediately disappointed. I had, what appeared to be just half an egg, no croutons and a meagre amount of parmesan, and the anchovies I later discovered also amounted to just two. We queried the lack of croutons with one of the waiting staff as we couldn't remember seeing them on the menu, but a standard Caesar salad comes with croutons, right? We were told that it doesn't... Having now checked online, it does indeed state on the menu that croutons are included.

My wife's food arrived and she donated her salad to mine, thinking that the sausage roll looked substantial, and she wasn't that hungry. However, when she cut into it she discovered it was mostly air - a very crispy pastry, but little in the way of filling.

Describing the ham that was served with mine as 'pancetta' is frankly misleading too.

£12.95 for half an egg, a couple of slices of ham, some shredded lettuce, two anchovies and a drizzle of dressing isn't what I'd consider value.

Whilst we'll definitely visit the garden centre again, we most certainly won't be eating here again.

3rd year visiting Father Christmas at the Woburn Sands Emporium. (Sad no Mrs Christmas this year but the elf’s are brilliant!)
Amazing as always, truly magical experience for children. My son was a very happy boy.

Thank you for Steak and Ale Pie today 12 May. Some may prefer meat to be a little less cooked but that’s how I like it. Good choc brownie sundae with icecream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
