Unacceptable service. Staff and manager have no clue. They need some training cause it takes 3 staff members and 20min to collect an item I bought and paid for on eBay. Came in the other day and they kept asking for barcode. I said I don’t have one and they made me feel as if it’s my fault. 10min later they realised that they haven’t done their bit and that’s why I had no barcode. Asked me to wait for an email. I got annoyed as it was taking way too long. Those two unprofessional and arrogant women asked me to stop being rude! Seriously? Do your job properly!! Would you like to get service like that? Anyway, got that email and it took only 5 attempts to scan it. Barcode still didn’t work and I had to wait another 10min until they finally said that they will make a note of that barcode and I’m free to go!! Seriously!!! I had to wait all this time to find out there was another, faster way! It used to be a nice shop, but now with them 3 working there, you can tell they don’t care and it’s just brand damaging!!! Won’t go back and if they would work for me, I would get rid of them by now! Appalling and unacceptable attitude/service!!!! If you hate your job, just stay at home and do not annoy other people.

Item purchased had small mechanical defect. Returned within 30 minutes. They would not accept as their COVID policy means returns have to be made at specified places. Would have meant trip to one of two other towns and at 70 I don’t travel at moment. Managed to fix it but think their returns policy is ridiculous. If they’re open to collect, they should take back faulty items. Won’t be using them again until this is over (if at all)

Store looks to have had a refurb and looks good. Reserved goods on line and went to store quick pay area. Disgruntled to find you can no longer pay for goods with your Argos card here so had to go to till. Friendly, chatty staff who also confirmed that you can no longer pay with Argos card at quick pay tills. Collected goods with not much of a wait. When I got home, I noticed that one of the electrical items had previously been opened and re sealed. There was a label to say that the item had been checked and all the cables were still in sealed pks, apart from the remote control! Set the item up and went to use the remote, only to find it didn't work!!!! 😠 Furious is and understatement!

Argos wisbech have never got what i want in stock if u havent got then dont advertise it. I ordered a double bed and was told it was going to be delivered on the 29th march only this morning they phoned and said it would be the 15th april. Its a good job i didnt take my old bed apart yet as i'd be sleeping on the floor or the sofa. The staff in the store are helpful tho and friendly too. Also noticted that the andriod app doesnt match whats on the website or the tablets they have in store. Argos wisbech is not that brillent.
