What a fabulous market, everything from meat pies to oil paintings. You definitely must visit, it's held on the first Saturday of each month

This is where my great-great-grandfather, Daniel Marsden had his ironmonger business for over 100 years. Lovely friendly people in this old rural services town - the nice chap in the newsagent next door, and the llvely old gent in the red tea shop in Coldwell Street, both of whom knew the last proprietor of the business. And the friendly man walking his two Lhasa Apso doggies down the main road a bit near the Memorial Hall.
