They always cook fresh. It may take a few minutes longer but it’s worth the wait as it’s so fresh. There chips are the best I’ve had in ages and the portions are big. The owners are lovely and so welcoming. It is also very clean and the oil must be changed regularly as no food ever comes out greasy. 10 out of 10. Great value for money too

Just unbelievably bad, chips literally tasted of nothing and totally anemic. The peas were like supermarket home brand tinned mushy peas and by far the worst was the chicken meat which was undercooked and mainly skin and fat, it had to go straight in the bin.
Quite literally the worst food I've ever had from a chip shop, will never repeat.

Delicious fish and chips (cooked well, crispy golden batter) and good service. My dad and little brother were on food-acquiring duty yesterday and apparently the guy in the shop remembered the kid from the last time we ordered there a few months back! Plus we got the food pretty quickly for a Saturday night. Only gripe is the lack of vegetarian options - just one or two things, like a cheese and onion pasty next to the steak/chicken pies, would be more than fine.

Shocking fish and chips! Old grey cod and thin. No big flakes of white cod here! Big piece of fish but really thin. Really really really salty curry sauce, bullet mushy peas. Tasteless chips, which I didn’t think was even possible! Worst fish and chips after 50 years on this rock! Wow just wow! Stunned! Won’t be going back!
