Stayed at Windward 5 a lovely 3 storey townhouse. Asked for the property to be extra cleaned before arrival as although we were bringing a non shedding dog I'm allergic to other shedding dogs. Give the housekeeping their due the property was very clean but there was a very very strong smell of dogs! Immediately went into Bowness to get antihistamines. Could have done with some air fresheners sprayed in the property or left for us to spray as the smell was very overwhelming!! We had a car spray air freshener in our pick up so sprayed that throughout our stay which did the trick. The property was very well equipped but wish they put some cleaning products in so that we could have cleaned throughout our stay but none left at all. The only other suggestion is to put some sun loungers on the first floor balcony as its a sun trap but had no furniture on it, definitely missing something to sit on. Everything else great but the option to pay for a slightly later e departure time of even 1 1am would be appreciated.

Currently staying here. Outstanding location. First class service from booking to arriving. Bowness apartments - 12 Marina View is excellent. Room is very well equipped and an excellent 3 bedroom option with parking for 2 cars. Would definitely come again.

An exquisite 5 day family break in the heart of Windermere. The apartments are well specced and beautifully furnished throughout within a safe exclusive marina, with restaurant and bar on site.

The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble stayed 3 nights in Winward Apartment 38 with friends for my birthday a stunning Apartment with a spacious outdoor terrace with plenty of seating lovely view, It is so peaceful and tranquil. Short walk to Windermere Lake with nice views

Was told about this from my friend who's been coming years, she knew I was looking to book a place in the lakes for my partners birthday and suggested the Windermere Marina. I'm so glad she did! ||What an amazing place we stayed in the Windermere apartment 47. |great views of the Marina, lovely pub next door which catered for allergies and the Gluten free tempera Haloumi was amazing! Yum! ||I must give a mention to the staff, from booking this and booking the wrong apartment the staff were amazing to deal with, nothing is too much trouble, so friendly and chatty and they've made such a lovely atmosphere. the tall guy in the bar was lovely, so friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. ||We can't wait to go back; we’ve been talking about it none stop!||Lastly I just want to say the bed was so comfy, I wish I could have brought it home with me, Thank you so much for a really memorable stay & see you again soon.

Very easy checkin with friendly staff . This is the third time we have stayed here & each time in a different apartment . Every apartment has been spotlessly clean & furnished to a high standard also has everything you need. The balcony outside has lovely views of the Marina & furniture to allow to sit & relax to enjoy the view.

Stayed for 1 week in May 2024. |Family joined us for 4 days. This is a spacious 3 bedroom house, with lounge on 1st floor with balcony & master bedroom on ground floor and two en-suite rooms on top floor.|We found the house to be extremely comfortable & very well equipped. A rare thing of self catering was the large sofas and chairs for 6 people, often this can be style of substance, on a rainy evening essential to have somewhere to get comfy and watch a movie.|Lovely big table to dine and play games. |Only minor things were pillows, but personal taste I suppose, had to pop out to buy a soft one, the floors were a bit creaky, wine cooler didn’t cool, parking space very short…… don’t let these things put you off! |Would have like to use patio but wooden furniture really needed a pressure wash. |Lovely dog walk loop to Cockshott Point, very peaceful in the mornings. |Very well situated. A small welcome basket would have been nice, maybe I have been spoilt in other rentals. |The £300 security deposit phone call was a bit of a shock 2 days prior to travel!!! Stayed in several decent places in Lakes & never been asked for this, surely the owners have insurance built into their rental cost? A little bit insulting.|Would we go again….. possibly 👍🏼

16 windward way amazing, decor beautiful and very well stocked with everything you need. Larger than average accommodation and nice private balcony not overlooked. Private driveway for 2 cars. Would highly recommend staying here its stunning. JUST RENOVATED DECKING AREA, SO PEACEFUL AND COSY.
