Called about a situation where we had recently moved into their jurisdiction and we had a lot of extra refuse beyond what could fit in the bins as a result, that we needed picked up. This was all due to unpacking and included unrecyclable waste such a bubble wrap etc It seemed like a totally normal and understandable situation, and not our fault. They not only refused to help but were impatient and blocking and curt in their response and tone. They were just trying to rudely get rid of me as soon as possible instead of letting me politely ask questions, often interrupting.

In correspondence with someone in the parking department. I have been sent rude and condescending emails in response to my challenge of a PCN. The emails have not improved during correspondence and I am left feeling incredibly frustrated as there is no one to talk to. Having followed the guidelines for the free parking I was disgusted to receive a PCN and followed the appropriate channels to have it revoked. Sadly I received an email that clearly implied that they can do what they want and there is nothing that can be done because of their greed and apparent superiority.
The manner on which I have been treated is utterly disgusting and anyone who works for this council should hide in shame because it has proven to be an inconvenience and not at all helpful in any situation.
I called the office and was talked over the entire time by a rude woman who refused to help. When I requested a manager to talk to as I was fed up with being talked over, I was told there were none in today. I'm fairly certain this was a lie as it is the standard response of companies who do wrong and want to avoid doing anything to right the situation.

Do not let them take any of your money.

Regarding QR codes in car parks. Scanning a QR code in a car park, being scammed and still having to pay the fine.

Always brilliant . No matter which dept I have dealt with in the last 8 years I get fast replies ,professional and supportive help , fare decisions. Plus I have not met one person I have not liked enormously. Thank you . Take care everyone 🙂

I wish you would sort out the poor quality of your telephone response messages.
The man's voice is muffled and breaks up. It makes it quite difficult even for someone with reasonable hearing to understand.

I have always spoken to helpful and polite employees who are doing their job! I haven’t always received the response I have hoped for, but this doesn’t mean I haven’t been heard and considered in my communications with them.

I might not like to pay for my garden waste, I might not like to pay for parking outside my own house, but this isn’t a WCC issue.

Yesterday they moved my garden waste bin into the middle of my entrance thus blocking my drive but did not empty it. I could not report it before 12:00 today so I am supposed to wait another 2 weeks before any action is taken. That means no action will be taken! Bear in mind that due to Christmas & New Year, it is 4 weeks since the last collection. Will I be recompensed for this lack of contracted service? I doubt it! The plodders who gravitate into employment in the sleepy hollows of WCC do not care or understand the concept of customer service but they will have employment for as long as they want and a gold plated pension when they don't want! And we pay for it, through the nose!!!

Very unfairly given a parking ticket and sent a rude and arrogant email to my appeal. Taking advantage of local residents with misleading signage and tactically placing parking attendants … the reviews on here say it all.
