From the moment I got engaged, there was no question in my mind—I wanted Charlotte to design my dress. Her designs are nothing short of extraordinary: dreamy, unique, and truly one of a kind. I fell in love with the Lily dress the instant I saw it, and even now, I have to pinch myself when I see photos of myself wearing it.

As someone who always seeks out distinctive, special pieces in fashion, I knew my wedding dress had to reflect that same spirit. Charlotte brought my vision to life in the most magical way. Her talent was matched by her kindness and attentiveness throughout the entire process. She took great care to in creating the exact dress I had envisioned. Visiting her was always a pleasure, and even with just two consultations, she crafted an utterly magnificent dress—a testament to her remarkable talent.

My only regret is that I could only wear my beautiful dress for just one day, but the joyI felt in it will stay with me forever.

Everything about working with Charlotte of Wilden London is magical. Her treasure trove of a studio behind a pink door is a haven and her talent of taking an idea (no matter how small) and translating it on to paper and then manifesting it in fabric and thread is truly remarkable.

Communicating with Charlotte over email and chatting in person whenever I had a fitting was always such a pleasure and it was so exciting whenever a message came in with a sample of the embroidery or a design idea. I loved how working with her made my wedding dress a truly personal expression (something I just wasn’t finding going down the bridal shop route) and I really felt Charlotte understood this from our earliest exchanges.

Perhaps the aspect I most admire about Charlotte (and there are many!) are her embroidery skills. She is without a doubt an artist with needle and thread! Embroidery was always something I knew would be important to the design my dress. Through our initial consultation she was able to help hone in on one of the most meaningful design ideas for the embroidery (based on a porcelain china pattern my mother and I collect). The way Charlotte was able to run with this idea and so beautifully execute it proved she is a true embroidery fairy!

I cannot recommend Charlotte more highly as someone to guide and craft the most beautiful dress of you dreams. Her talent is prodigious - her attention to detail and fit is exacting and her passion for what she does, inspiring.

Charlotte is the ONLY person you need to look for to create your bespoke wedding dress! The whole process from start to finish was so magical and I always looked forward to walking through her little pink door for my fittings and catching up on all things wedding.
Charlotte is beyond talented, bringing together all of my ideas and creating the most beautiful dress, scarf and sleeves I have ever put on my body.
She truly looks after you during the fittings and makes you feel so comfortable, it’s as if you’re chatting away to a close friend.

Me and my husband decided to elope to Las Vegas and trying to find the right dress to suit my style as well as the environment that we were getting married in was tricky. I decided to find somebody to make the dress that i visioned in my head. I started my research and came across Charlotte!
After an initial meeting and a few sketches, we had the bones of a design! At each fitting I saw the dress take shape. Everything bespoke and tailored to my vision. The Shape, length, fabric selection, and the details. Charlotte listened to my thoughts, my concerns, navigated me through the process and created the dress of my dreams!

If you've found Charlotte you have found the person to make your perfect wedding dress. From the first moment I sat down with her I just knew, she pulled all the thoughts from my head and weaved them into something magical.
Charlotte listened so carefully to me and never once tried to push me in any particular direction. She helped bring together all the pieces I had floating around in my brain and from the very first sketch I knew she just got me.
The whole process was amazing and even when the wedding was delayed by 18months due to the Covid restrictions Charlotte and I kept in contact chatting and sending me videos of the process. I felt so comfortable with her, able to express my thoughts and talk through design points right through the process and I loved going to the studio.
My dress truly was beyond my wildest dreams, utterly perfect and I adored every moment of wearing it.

I’d say stop looking at any other bridal store or seamstress right now as you found a gem. It’s pretty hard to put into words how incredibly talented and kind Charlotte is.
As a film director who has a strong pov on fashion I searched everywhere to find someone with impeccable craft, good taste (so hard to find in the bridal fashion!), cool and willing to go above and beyond. That is Charlotte. A true artist.

She made the wedding dress of my dreams -had so many intricate details and she pulled it all off with grace and a smile. I looked like the bride in The godfather - pure traditional Italian drama. Everyone was beyond stunned at the wedding.
Charlotte also created the most epic 70s party corset and skirt with gloves and a purse to die for - that she hand embroidered folklore symbols of my and my husbands heritage - I mean I can’t even!!! She even researched and got inspired by so many stories that ended up being part of the corset’s story.

I’m going to frame the corset as it’s truly a work of art that I want our generations to come to witness.

I’m sad that our fittings are over as I had to so much fun creating with her but I know we will do some amazing work together soon.

Charlotte created me the most beautiful gown for my wedding day, 5th November, 2023 and I couldn't have been happier. From our initial chat via zoom, I immediately felt that she got me and I understood why I hadn't been able to find "the one" in a bridal shop. Quality and beautiful fabric were so important to me but mainly the cut of the dress, how well it was put together and that it suited my shape. Despite living at almost opposite ends of the country, Charlotte always accommodated the few times I was able to travel down to see her. She even made me a veil and hand embroidered the most beautiful Eastern Bluebird on it for me, this had special meaning as well as being my something blue. On the day I felt like an angel, the dress fitted me perfectly and I felt like I was floating around. The comments I got were amazing on how well my dress suited me. I genuinely feel it was one of the best decisions I made about choosing for the wedding, well, apart from the man I married! Charlotte is an understated genius, talented and has a true, genuine passion for her craft. If there had been 6 stars I'd have ticked them all.

It is difficult to condense the magical experience I had working with Charlotte into a mere ‘review’ but here is a little attempt.. from start to finish Charlotte’s intuition and attentive, patient approach has allowed me to basically dream up the dress from my childhood dreams. From thinking up the concept to choosing materials, to then meeting up and thinking iteratively and adjusting along the way, the whole process was an absolute joy and felt intimate and special. Charlotte understood immediately I wanted a dress full of story, secret messages, and romanticism but with a modern rock/twist and a sprinkle of drama :). She takes your ideas and uses her amazing creative mind and dressmaking skills to give you the absolute dream dress. I will cherish the memories of working on this dress with her forever and will always be grateful to her for how special she made me feel on my wedding day.
