We ordered some doors for next day delivery before thinking about handles. Found some we liked and aslef if they could be ordered and added to delivery. Difficult to do apparently but the staff could not have done more to try and find a way to help. As it happened there weren't enough handles available but even then the staff were searching other stores to see if they could help further. Brightened my day.

Doors arrived next day as promised and within time slot.

Great experience all around.

AVOID!! Bought some items from there as renovating home. Over stayed by 30 minutes and received a £100 fine purely because my son, who was with me, is a wheelchair user and has a blue badge had had an accident outside which resulted in others coming to his aide. Went back to the car and bandaged him up before getting him out of his wheelchair and into the car. Next thing I know I receive a fine even though I told the company to check out the CCTV which would confirm what I had told them. Not interested. WON'T be buying anything from here again.

Purchased a £170.00 Einhell lawn mower from Chester Branch. The member of staff was helpful getting us a trolley and helping us to lift. On unpacking and assembling we noticed one of the front wheels was bent. When pushed the mower veered to the left. It was so bent it almost touched the frame of the mower. I rang the branch immediately and was told to bring it back. I requested a replacement but on checking stock it was the last one. The nearest stock is Birkenhead. I asked if they could have one transferred to Chester but was told no they can't do that. We had to strip the mower back down, repack and go to all the trouble time and petrol to return it for a refund. Not the best.

Do NOT use Wickes kitchen installers!!! Absolute cowboys who have left us without a kitchen for over a month now. Shocking plastering, shocking workmanship. Arrives at 2:30pm and buggers off after doing nothing.

Wickes have started the credit agreement on our kitchen which has NOT been completed even after we told them this info they went ahead and started the payments! Illegal!!!!

Please do not use the kitchen installers from Wickes! Find your own. We are gutted at the service received!!! Only good part was the designer, Martin!

We had our kitchen designed by Martin Jones and he did a great job, though I had a problem with the fridge freezer but it wasn't the kitchen design it was me, I spoke to Martin, went into the showroom and he showed me where I was going wrong, I would also like to mention Emily Davidson who works at Wicks Chester who has been very helpful and very pleasant, lovely to deal with and she knows her stuff had a few queries and Emily sorted them with no fuss, which is what you want when you think you have a problem even though there was no problem, just me
