Lovely little community shop, full of everything that you would need. The ladies that served me were very kind and welcoming. Maybe some gluten free bread/rolls would be a welcome addition for coeliacs like myself

A wonderful shop, well-stocked with everything you need whilst on the Broads.
Warm & friendly staff and, as others have said, the coffee on the terrace is terrific, complete with a lovely view (attached) of this delightful Norfolk village.

We visit the Norfolk Broads every October, and each time we visit the White House Community Stores in Neatishead. We moor in either Gays Staithe or Neatishead moorings and walk to the shop. We particularly like the fact it's a community store run by local volunteers, as such we always make a point of visiting. This year we stopped in twice, one on the day RAF Typhoon fighters went over and created a sonic boom, the village came out and we got a sense of how nice and caring everyone are. Anyway more about the shop, it has the essentials and stocks a nice range of local produce, which we've purchased before, the yare rapeseed oils are nice, and the local bread of life chezzy crackers are so moorish, we have even contacted the producer and had some sent to us one Christmas. I'd recommend a visit even if it's just for a coffee on their front patio, it's a welcome respite when on long walks, and there are great walks around the area.

Fabulous shop with all the things you need. Plus coffee. Don't forget to sample their fabulous coffee and sit out on their veranda. Perfect for a Sunday morning stroll from the staithe.
