Great little station, why do most people still love a steam train, if it wasn't for the volunteers we most probably would never see them running again.

Great trip up. But extremely poor customer service back split up a young family of 7. 1 adult at the back of the train mum and kids at the front. In addition to demanding that buggy and children's bits were left un attended.

A very charming example of a small railway station. The museum of the Somerset and Dorset Railway Trust is here, while small it tells railway and social history in an interesting and informative way; if you want to read everything expect to spend around 45 minutes. You can buy railway books and souvenirs, and light refreshments.

Stopped here after a short trip on one of the steam engines from Minehead Station. Small shop and toilet facilities. The gentleman running the shop let us into the engine shed for us to have a look around while we waited for our return trip. My children loved it. There was a victorian carriage that had been lovingly restored and it was beautiful.

Washford Station is now OPEN. Situated between Watchet and Blue Anchor on the West Somerset Heritage Railway. Carparking is limited. Ideal departure and arrival station for walkers and those wishing to visit Cleeve Abbey. Currently (4/22) there are no refreshment facilities, although the adjacent Washford Inn offers food and beverages when open. There are toilets.
