Well what a disaster and a disgrace, I booked them a few days, I booked them a few days ago, to come and look at some furniture, which was virtually new, to pick up. I was waiting for them at the flat which is on bond street near surfside, I waited over a hour, and she phoned me to tell me they couldn't come because of where it is , there are tones of removal vans, deliveries, etc come down here, but they insisted they were not coming. It is so lazy of them, and I feel so sorry for the charity they are supposed to help. There have been many vans cars etc come down here to stop and deliver, but I guess a lack of common sense wasn't helping, they had 2 people to come and check the furniture etc over, she didn't even give me the chance to say that someone could have been there and watched the van for police, or car parking attendance to check. Oh well the furniture can just stay there now , I have moved and will not go back, it has been a very stressful upsetting month for me, I had a stroke a few years ago and I'm on 10 lots of medication, what the hell is wrong with people now, I mentioned this to other people I know and they couldn't believe what has happened. Oh well not my problem now and hope that other people won't bother with them either, if they get the same treatment that I got. I have done 2 major move before , one when my late partner died and over in Lancashire when my father passed away and none of these were has bad as this one with the organisation round here, I don't know what I would have done without my lovely friend ❤️ and my ex neighbours to help me .

Well I got sorted of an apology from Welmar, but total lies, they said they came round to pickup my furniture, then they lol thought they wouldn't be able to do it, so why didn't they have the common sense to ring me or too press the intercom at my flat , I don't believe they came anywhere near the apartment. What a pathetic excuse ,how the bloody hell do they think how the furniture arrived in the first place. Just an excuse they couldn't be bothered or climb three flights of stairs. I will tell people I know all about this .

We waited six weeks for someone to collect our sofa, as we wanted to donate it back. which we had brought of weldmar a year before to be told it was to warn and they would not take it. The sofa is in good condition and very comfortable. I feel very upset. I cannot beleave I waited just to be told they would not take it

I can't thank Sharon and the great staff more for their help. I've managed to furnish my 'Snug' with a John Lewis Snuggler seat and G Plan Vintage 66 armchair for just under £200. New they would have cost me £900 and 1k respectively. Both in great condition. Let's save the planet and help our local charities. We don't need to buy New when we have these fantastic charity shops and outlets, with such top class pre-loved goods. Very happy shopper:)

Over the last few years I have had some really good buys. It's my go to place if I'm looking for something considered old fashioned. The staff have always been very helpful. I recommend a visit, you may find something you didn't know you wanted.

Visited the Weldmar outlet at Granby on Tuesday and had a good root around, nothing better in my opinion ( love a good charity shop). I noticed they had moved everything around and thought it was much better. The great thing about this shop is it’s always really clean and doesn’t have that “ charity shop smell”. Managed to find a great little China hare for my collection. I did notice a fabulous sofa had just been delivered and was sorely tempted, sadly no room. Never had a problem with staff as always find them very chatty and friendly.

This isn't a charity it's a business. Chair priced 2nd hand at full retail price. Made proper offer and was ignored.. I'll go back in a month and the item will still be there ... great for the charity in need of funds!! There's a lovely Grey haired lady behind the counter but the short dark haired lady is rude. Wouldn't even talk to us. If its paid work then smile ... if voluntary, why do it if it makes you so miserable that common courtesy gets bypassed. Have spent 100s in here in the past but wont even go in now.
