Went there to do full head highlights and quick trim. Almost 3 hours later and £125 lighter I ended up with poorly coloured hair with patches of very dark hair that has not been coloured obviously. Obviously people here think that no one puts the hair up ...No one has checked at the end if the colouring had been ok which tends to be a standard procedure everywhere. When I sent them photos and asked for a PART refund of the money paid I was told they did not do refunds! But instead offered to come again and redo the job. Don’t have the time to come there to redo a job that they should have done right first time. Asked for a part refund- got straight refusal. So won’t be going there again and wouldn’t recommend, especially the services of Chelsea who charges most and delivers sub-standard job. Photo is of the so called 'full head highlights"

Always an fab experience at Vintage Rock and always love how Beth does my hair! Never disappoints! I go for the weekly blow dry subscription and it was the best decision I ever made!

Vintage Rock have been in the town for quite a while now and I've used them pretty much exclusively over the years for a pretty standard wash, cut and blow dry. They have been pretty reliable too.

The salon itself is lovely with great decor and is just by Morrisons so very central in town. They also have expanded what they offer in terms of hair/nail/beauty too! They offer online booking too which is a help and you can book appointments with a deposit.

My usual stylist Katie, I think has left now so there are new faces and a little bit of a sea change in store (they used to always ask if you wanted a drink too!) She was fantastic, great at a cut and a blow dry and really did it well. I've just been in at the weekend and was a little disappointed. Nothing to do with skill, it just felt a bit rushed and the end result wasn't as good as I've had before.

I've mostly had good experiences but I think that with my pretty boring hair cut, I'm not really their target market anymore (I'm quite forgettable too so they probably don't have a clue who I am!). I think they are a good salon and love an edgy cut but it is so dependent on the stylist and your relationship with them.

Took my neice here at the weekend, called and was able to get a slot that day. There was a slight delay but that happens. There was a lovely lady who served us, she washed, cut and styled her hair for £17 which is a bargin 🙂 my neice had the best time and will definitely come back next time.
Super amazing customer service, we even got mini eggs which was a lovely touch.

My usual salon was fully booked so I tried this salon. I only have a wash and rough dry as I can't do it myself as I'm disabled. The salon is nicely decorated, the young girl who washed my hair was polite and sweet. My hair was washed properly. Not keen on the disposable towels to be honest but everything else was just fine. Will use this salon as my spare when mine are fully booked 🙂

Used Christina's services to have my ruined nails sorted. FAB job, very pleased, feel human again. Lovely lady to talk to and very professional 🙂
