Great place for cake lovers! Fantastic range of delicious cakes - some unusual options available, including gluten-free.
The menu has something for everyone inc a range of breakfast dishes, brunch & lunch options.
Outdoor & indoor seating available.
We really enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake!

Passed the place many times to and from work. As it was raining today, thought we'd give it a try. First impression was, it's busy! But we were seated pretty quickly. The room was airy and bright, and well laid out. The staff were very friendly. A good choice of light meals that were reasonably priced and a cracking pot of tea! As we were a little full after eating, we took some cakes to go. Overall, a really nice place to visit ?

Very nice place and the food was good too. Service was OK when it happened but a bit slow. I suspect they need more staff or were low on staff that day (Sunday last).
I would happily return for more.

The perfect cafe. Staff are friendly and very helpful, cakes are the best, coffee perfect and all reasonably priced. Dogs also welcome.

Had an afternoon tea to take away for 4 people, absolutely lovely! Nice to get some salad with the delicious sandwiches and sausage rolls and lots of nice berries amongst the amazing variety of cakes. Excellent.

Brilliant 60th Birthday evening party last night. 72 guests and DJ.
Amazing food and drink. Cake to die for and perfectly co-ordinate service. Smart and intelligent serving staff who just knew exactly when to serve food and drink.
We cannot recommend the Cakery on the Bridge enough!!!
Can’t wait for the next party!!

We had an 'after hours' afternoon tea for 20 people to celebrate my sister's hen weekend. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff lovely and attentive. The table looked fabulous with all the mismatched vintage crockery. We all had the best time and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend the Birdcage.
We also took home what we couldn't manage and have enjoyed cake for breakfast!!!!
