Big M&S and Next Home stores close to Monk's Cross. Great selection of clothing, cosmetics and food items. We went in for a specific perfume and the lady in the perfume department was very helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. She even went out of her way to go in search of a larger bottle for us. Excellent shopping experience!

SCAM - Parking is a scam at this place. I only visited (from Darlington) to see the new Go Outdoors store. I saw no information regarding parking restrictions on entrance or anything stating it was a match day which apparently reduces your free parking time from 4hrs to 2 before you can be fined. Imagine my surprise when I get a parking fine notice through the door 8 weeks later! Absolutely fuming and certainly won’t bother going back😡

The shop was lovely and well stocked,unfortunately we visited the cafe thinking it would be the same. Ordered cheese and ham toasties x2 looked OK but not very tasty the chips were white and looked plastic I then treated my granddaughter t a piece of £4.25 slice of chocolate cake it looked delicious but it was the driest cake ever like a brick! No cream available to moisten It with. First time dining at m ns but it was also the last.

3 stars is a balanced view of the excellent shops with disgusting parking rules. 2hours 10mins is costing me £48 at the discounted rate. What retail outlet restricts to just 2 hours. We can easily spend more than 2 hours there which may or may not lead to more purchases. But limiting parking to 2 hours guarantees we won’t spend more. Completely illogical and just another way to scam money out of people. It’s on me to read parking signs but I didn’t expect a measly 2 hour limit at such a large shopping park.

This is a clean nice place sandwiched between the great booming city of Leeds and posh York. It is quieter and still offers a great time out. There is a Nandos and a host of other restaurants and shops and a community stadium in the vicinity. Parking space is also a welcome feature. Take a walk round and spend a bit of cash. You are worth it.
