We're local to the area and finally thought we'd pop in a give it a go as it always looks lovely from the outside.
(When you can see through the condensation!)

Sadly we were really disappointed with our experience. All dishes £12+ but it was no where near worth it. Microwaved, premade rubbish.
Pancakes were awful with one sad rasher of bacon and the hash brown stack was a sad sight for the price!

We love to try and support local businesses but this is daylight robbery. Some serious improvement is needed.

The atmosphere is lovely and not too overpowering playlist. Generous and delicious food for breakfast (what we ordered was amazing). There are lots of choice options for breakfast as well. Tea perfectly hot and coffee was a delicious blend 10/10.

Came in the other day for 2 milkshakes - the Strawberry and Dubai Chocolate ones and we cannot fault anything. The Milkshakes were delicious and the staff were lovely. Will definitely come in again next time we are in the area.

A lovely cafe with a great ambiance. Lovely place to go for a bite to eat we enjoyed a lunch which was tasty and freshly prepared.

Some really tasty cakes too.

Great little place to grab a spot of lunch or even an afternoon drink.

Such a shame about the food. It’s a nice looking cafe with good coffee but unfortunately the food was below average. Everything was either undercooked or overcooked. Dry, tasteless and not worth £12 considering what you get at other cafes in the town.

Great cafe, dog friendly with a relaxing casual atmosphere. Soup was delicious and the salmon open sandwich stunning - highly recommended. (Turned away at Home Ground, who won’t let you inside with a dog!)

First trip of 2024 saw Boothroyd and I return to Windermere. Starting the day of with a modest repast in this lovely little café cum bar. About £10 for the small breakfast and £3 for a pot of breakfast tea. Liked the bacon and egg but not so keen on the pork sausage; a little chewy. (There is a world class butcher shop two doors down, Huddlestons but they are on annual holidays after the New Year. Shame as we were hoping to take home lots of mest!)
