Absolutely lots of gorgeous fabrics in here. The staff do stand nearby while you're browsing if they're not busy. However I don't think they are checking whether you steal something as others have suggested. We only browsed big big bolts of cloth that can't really be stolen. I think they are there in case you need help. Anyway we got some lovely fabric and give it 5*.

An absolutely fabulous shop.
The stock is so rich that you can find an amazing selection from cloths and timings.
Also fantastic array of craft projects available.
The staff us super helpfull and eager to advice you or suggest other options for your project.
Well worth a visit but pencil in plenty of time as there are a lot of options to consider.

The employee is very annoying, the product which is looking for is always says not there plus the most disappointing thing is the short lady is very aggressive because she has very rough talks I just asked her for looking product amd she just talk very roughly as always... this is my 2 time experience with her and I'm very disappointed please don't go there. The people are very nubs

In part, thanks to lockdown over time I've learned a lot about buying online & buying craft supplies the same way...sometimes it's a double edged sword but that's most things in life. I though, wanted to try the old fashioned craft shopping experience once more, see if I'd missed anything...Tuesday 21st May 2024 & spent between £40-£50...after I got home realised a rolled piece of dark blue cotton lace I'd picked up at the beginning wasn't in my stash, cud only assume I must have dropped it in the shop and I was a little dissappointed but I knew it hadn't gone through the till, or I wud have remembered. The following Friday 24th May 2024 my busy day ended earlier than normal, had some extra time on my hands & remembered that lost piece of blue lace & it was early enough before closing time, so pleased to see that roll of lace, decided to have a good look around the shop, I might have purchased even more if the young male employee hadn't been overtly following me around, so much that in the end I asked him if he was following me...take a guess what his response was!!....& he continued to trail me around the seriously narrow passages & I was no longer motivated to continue & knew I'd return to shopping online for the most part & other arts & craft shops that are not this one I was in...I had 2 items to pay for & no longer wanted the blue lace, I dumped it back in its box, paid & plan to NOT return.....disgusting attitude...very, very disappointing. Online is WAY cheaper & more convenient & you're not treated like a thief...BAD.?

A fascinating little shop close by Camden tube. From the outside, a some less than prepossesing frontage showing a few sari's and reels of cotton and rolls of material. However, once you get past that bit, you find a veritable cornucopia of all things arts and crafts. The serious knitter and dress maker will find all the useful bits and pieces that are hard to come by. Maker people will find piles of all those bits and pieces used in their work. Artists will find a generous supply of paints, brushes and all the rest they need.
I went into the shop to browse, and came out with a bag full of useful 'stuff' that i not seen anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Great old fashioned and well stocked craft shop. Rarer and rarer so I'm pleased it's here. I bought 3 items, a mix of stationery and haberdashery. (See pic) It's high on my re-visit list when I need craft related items.
