Amazing store with plenty of products, we bought 2 mugs and couple of key chains, we have a small issue with the mug but it was quickly replaced by Liz a wonderful manager from the store! Highly recommend to visit!

Just wanted to share the wonderful customer service I received from Typically British. We spotted something in the window whilst walking past in the evening on a weekend break. I telephoned once home to find out whether we could purchase this item over the phone and have it posted. Hannah was so helpful, nothing to much trouble and the very next day the item arrived extremely well wrapped with care and was just perfect. A very big Thankyou.

Purchased clothes for over 140GBP and gave 150GBP in 5x20GBP + 50GBP. THe store employee asked 4 times to give him more money. Who do you want to fool or treat like idots? Your customers ? Ended the conversation counting with him the money. After the purchase we didnt hear even "thank you". But I understand that you dont have to "thank you" if someone leaves 100 or 200GBP. You just dont care - Typically British.

Lovely range of Cambridge and British souvenirs including some tartan products. There were some different Cambridge souvenirs and clothing that were more subtle and 'arty'.

Sales assistant gave false information about VAT refund procedure on 25 July 2015 at approximately 6 pm. Shop was closing and the receipt printer appeared to have problems printing. Shop assistant (Hannah?) ASSURED us that we would be able to get our VAT refund back at the airport with our receipts and goods purchased. While we knew this was unlikely, we took her word for it and let her get on with her rush to close the store.

While another assistant did offer us the opportunity to return to the store the next morning to get the refund forms done, our flight was the day after and this would not have been possible.

Disappointed with such irresponsible behaviour and while I know from experience that such behaviour is anything but "Typically British", the other tourists that the store caters to at Cambridge might well assume so.
