Twisted Willow Cafe is a beautiful little cafe that stands out for its spotless cleanliness, creative decoration, and lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The cafe offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes, including various vegan options like pitta bread with hummus and olives. Additionally, the cakes at the cafe are known to be amazing, with a double-decker cake being a particular favorite among customers. Despite not having any vegan cakes available during some visits, the cafe's commitment to offering a variety of options for different dietary preferences is commendable. The cafe's cozy and welcoming ambiance makes it an ideal spot for solo dining, family gatherings, or group outings. Moreover, it is conveniently located near free street parking, making it easily accessible for visitors. This beautiful little cafe was spotlessly clean, creatively decorated and had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. There were some nice vegan options for me - including Pitta bread with hummus and olives - and a menu which pretty much catered for all tastes. The cakes looked amazing and my friend was impressed with her Double-decker cake! There were no vegan cakes today, unfortunately, but maybe next time I’ll be in luck. 😉

1st time here with my sister and what a gem of a place.
Being Portuguese myself I loved seeing our food be included in your menu!
We opted for the chicken gyros
The bread was soft, chicken juicy and tender, salad full of colour and flavour.
Of course we had to have desert - Dubai cookie slice which was phenomenal by the way! 😍
Everything spot on
Decor and music also added to the aesthetics and culture of the place
We will be back 🥰

I love this beautiful cafe tucked down the side of wigton library. The atmosphere is so relaxing and calm as soon as you walk in. Constantinos greeted us and adked if we were sitting in or taking away and let us know he would come to us. He made sure there was no allergens to be aware of and took our order. I ordered the Halloumi, tomato and pesto ciabatta and a caramel latte while my partner ordered the cheese onion and mustard ciabatta with a halloumi side.
The Ciabatta comes with salad which my partner didn't want and instantly regretted once we saw mine. Beautifully presented food, amazing flavours and taste. Halloumi from Cyprus to top it off, I dont even like Halloumi but I would eat 10 more of those Ciabatta any day. The coffee was so good I had to grab an extra one to go. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his food too and we finished lunch extremely happy.

Cypriot themed night where a four course dinner was served. Narrow menu meant that the chef could show his skills and he didn’t disappoint. From 1st to 4th course we were treated to well cooked, well presented and very flavoursome food.
Fine dining that I’ve not experienced outside of top class restaurants in Santorini.
Highly recommended

It's probably the worst cafe I've been to.
Quiche was too salty and the portion was tiny. That small slice is considered as a main, what a joke.
Broccoli soup was watery and bland.
Waitress asked how was everything, told her my honest feedback, she just walked away without saying anything. Waiter didnt greet us when we entered, just stared at us as we left, no thank you or goodbye.
To conculde, food was bad and overpriced, and the service was poor. Will not return.

Edit: Twisted Willow was the only cafe we visited in Wigton, everything I wrote in this review is genuine, I even provided photos. Don't you accuse me of reviewing the wrong cafe, the experience was so bad that I remember everything clearly during my visit around 2pm on 21/9/2024.

We called in for breakfast and had fantastic food - the Cyprus bowl (granola, yoghurt & fruit) and a ciabatta sandwich with delicious salads.

3 of us went for a Cypriot meal this evening. OMG It was fabulous! 4 courses, starting with a really hearty soup. The second course of Cypriot-style peas, potatoes and chicken in a beautiful sauce was delish - I could’ve licked the bowl! Next was a melt in the mouth lamb kleftiko and Cypriot salad, what else can I say? 😋😋😋
For dessert we were given a choice of several things, I chose the mango and lime cheesecake. It did not disappoint.
My uncle, who came with me and my partner, can’t wait to bring my aunt to the next event 🙂🙂

We stumbled across Twisted Willow today, which is a fabulous little cafe in Wigton serving a mixture of Greek & English food, with fab cakes to boot. We had halloumi gyros and a sausage toastie with coffees and delicious cakes. Very clean and friendly service. They also have a Five star food hygiene certificate. We’ll be back!
