From my first call to the company I was delighted by the professionalism and communication I experienced. Simon was absolutely fantastic from the very beginning to the end of the transaction.
A day after buying my van I had a mechanical issue and I telephoned him and he was so empathetic and gracious and handled the issue for me so that I was quickly back up and running again in the shortest time.

Bought a van from Tradecars today. Seller arranged to meet me at the local train station, and was happy to be flexible about times (just as well, owing to severe delays). So far, the van appears to be exactly as advertised with a decent amount of corresponding paperwork. Transferring ownership, payment and receipt was all straightforward. Recommended.

*Follow-up (2 days later)
Yesterday, I took a day off to tidy up the van and discovered a number of issues with it that I hadn't initially noticed /hadn't been pointed out or listed in the advert. I still think the van is in mechanically good condition, these things just take the shine off what seemed a very satisfactory purchase.
Each of these faults ought to have been pointed out at point of sale - CAVEAT EMPTOR:

- rear door broken (left door latch wire disengages, meaning only right side can be opened). This is the most significant point as it was discussed at point of sale. Seller explained that it must have been replaced/repaired by an idiot. (I now feel like an idiot for not investigating it fully)
- aerial missing (snapped off at base)
- spare key doesn't work (transponder broken, so trips anti-theft system)

Will contact seller regarding the issues to see how responsive the company is. Estimated cost to fix issues:

Rear door: £150+
Aerial: £13 + 1 hour's fitting time
Spare key: £100+

**Follow up (1 week later)
Seller has responded and reimbursed me for some of the value of the repairs.

Overall, am reasonably satisfied that this trader operates a trustworthy business. So, recommended.
