I called in recently to buy a CD, and it came up I was interested in getting into records. Chris mentioned they were able to supply Rega turntables. I had already been looking online at a Rega P1, but was much happier to support my local record shop. I originally placed an order for the P1, but after a bit of research and a chat with Chris went for the P2.

When I picked it up, I wanted to add something with a Jazz flavour to my limited record collection and was recommended an album by Khruangbin. The group was previously unknown to me and I absolutely love it.

I’ve been streaming music for the last few years and while it is convenient and has its place, I missed going into a shop, flicking through records, chatting to knowledge staff and discovering new music, in a way you just can’t do online. Suffice to say, I’m extremely happy with my turntable and new record and will be back on a regular basis!
