A wonderful venue for a wedding. The oak room is intimate and cosy (but plenty of room for our 50 guests) and the adjoining room plus bar, spacious for the extra 20 for our evening party. The whole day superbly organised by Helen and her team; many being volunteers. Such a great place: no need to drive anywhere else, free parking in the car park from 12 on Saturday through to Sunday and plenty of nearby accommodation for guests from far and wide. We used a local caterer who provided a lovely 3 course meal and a very good value evening buffet. DJ was also local as was the photographer. The local florist happily delivered a bouquet on the day for me and Helen was happy to receive the cake in the morning. Fabulous from start to finish.

We have recently had our wedding reception here, the service was amazing.
We had everything we wanted and help and advice along the way.
Cannot recommend enough was exactly what we were looking for.
All of the staff friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth time and everything went as planned.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Town Hall, the entrance is nice, the rooms are good sizes for what we used them for, it was pretty clean too, which is always a bonus.
The staff, which I think I heard a couple say there were volunteers, were really nice too.
Overall, a nice venue.

Nice place for a wedding, cheap bar . Old pictures and spacious. Clean toilets and a lift for those who can't walk upstairs

We were delighted to return to the Town Hall after fifty years and celebrate our Golden Wedding with family and friends. Anne, Celia and the team at the hall couldn’t have done more. Everyone had a wonderful time!
