I'm a 77 year old man and unfortunately suffering with anxiety attacks and depression.

On Sat10th August I was having problems with the remote key to my old Mercedes I had recently purchased and was unable to access the little battery inside it due to the previous owner having damaged it .

I decided to visit the local Timpsons based in the Tesco supermarket car park but by the time I reached there my anxiety levels were sky high and I was sobbing by the time I got to discuss my requirements.

The lady in charge of the Timpson outlet was a delightful lady who displayed empathy with my emotional state , constantly reassuring me she would be able to work round the damage and replace the necessary batteries.

Several minutes later the repair was completed and I expressed my gratitude.

The ladies name was Hayley and I cannot emphasise enough her dedication to the task she faced, not only to the damaged remote but to me as a customer.

Well done Hayley and well done Timpsons for employing such a dedicated team member ... FIRST CLASS SERVICE.

Having to collect my wife’s boots.. was not on my on my list of things to do.. but I was greeted by a beautiful lady called Hayley, what pure pleasure and professionalism.. not made a lovely comment on my wife’s boots.. but told me her story, on how much she enjoyed her job.. and how she loved working for Timpsons.. that made the experience so enjoyable.. So thanking to Timpson you have one great Ambassador and thank you to Hayley, done yourself proud..

Around February, my partner's watch was taken to Timpsons to be repaired as a birthday present. The repair was eventually carried out after several weeks and the bill for said work was paid in full. Almost immediately after receiving the watch back it stopped working again and the issue was found to be water damage (despite it being waterproof). The ingress of water was found (by Timpsons themselves) to be the result of a misplaced seal on the back of the watch and it was agreed, accordingly, that the cost of repairing said damage would be covered by Timpsons. Over the several months that the watch has since been in their possession, the management of the shop has changed and thus, upon the work finally being completed some 6 months after the initial issue, Timpsons presented us with a hefty bill to repair the damage they caused. When my partner expressed the aforementioned agreement to them they seemed to disregard the statement and will not release the watch until the bill is paid.
