Really can’t recommend the lodges at Thornbrook Barn highly enough.|Spacious, clean and modern with a view to die for.|Thick, fluffy towels and robes, feather duvet and pillows. Big shower with great pressure. A wonderful welcome crate with local goodies and a Tassimo machine for a decent cup of coffee.|The hot tub was amazing - private and discrete from the other lodges and caravans but making the most of the views of the owner’s sheep and the hills beyond.|Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We’ve been caravanning now for almost 14 years and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite sites. The owners are two lovely people who work hard to try and keep a plethora of people happy (which isn’t easy). The toilet block is always immaculate, there is plenty of room on your pitch and if the weather is nice there is no better spot. Thanks a lot Thornbrook Barn.

Fantastic site & location, everything you want for a chill out weekend, we loved it that much we returned the following weekend. Site is spotless, showers and toilets are immaculate. The site owners are very friendly and welcoming, we will definitely return,we found some amazing walks either from the site or a short drive.|Martons Arms 10mins walk great find lovely real ales and the food was delicious. All in all the location and site are perfect and our opinion great price too.

Excellent caravan site haven't personally used the lodges but they look really nice and inviting. Showers and toilets are faultless. Smooth radio piped through. Caravan pitches where we were (18) are of a very good sized, fully serviced pitch, hard standing very level and easy to get your pegs for awning down. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend as very close to south lakes, Blackpool and Morecombe.

Just returned from staying at Thornbrook barn in our new caravan. |Site is immaculate and beautiful scenery. The sound of the sheep in the surrounding fields was great and my wife loved seeing the new lambs running round.||The amenities block was spotless and showers lovely and hot. Site was dark at night which we loved as the night sky was so clear.|You will need a torch if going to the amenities block late at night.||There is a nice pub 10-15 minutes walk serving lovely food. A farm shop 5-10 minutes walk away selling lovely fresh products. Short distance to Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale. Great location to explore the surrounding area.||Had a problem with the new van on leaving the site and Alan couldn't have been more helpful.|We had to book in for an extra night due to the van problem but again what was a tricky situation ( won't go into details) was made so much easier with Alan's help.|Left the next day but so glad we have found this gem of a campsite. We will definitely be returning in the future. |Would fully recommend this campsite.| Thank you again to Alan and Sandra for their hospitality.

Had a one night stopover in our motorhome. The site is absolutely spotless and well looked after. We opted for a fully serviced pitch which was huge so plenty room for awnings and chairs. The site is about a 15 minute walk into Ingleton and the falls entrance, and a 10 minute walk to a local pub. We will definitely stay again.

We stayed here in our motorhomes. Good site a bit too much hard standing for us. Customer service is shocking. We had friends staying in a lodge and apparently you’re not even allowed to speak to your friends if they are staying in a lodge or go any where near them. The female owner could have explained this instead of treating us like trespasses on their land. This was early morning, not late at night or having a party. It was totally out of order and in any other circumstances I would have not tolerated this disgraceful attitude. We will not be returning , there are much nicer camp sites in the same village where customer service is paramount. My advice is avoid. Hats off to farmers diversifying but get some training on tourism, don’t just reap the rewards!

Not rooms but delightful site , we first visited the year it opened , we have been a few times and 10+ years later it still retains it's charm . The toilets/showers are immaculate. There is an enclosed dog area , wash up area and usual site facilities
