When I first attended this beautiful shop this was filled with beautiful clothes and the store assistant was always so helpful and nice. After spending a lot of money there I found one item to be faulty and re-attended the shop to see if I could get it repaired or replaced as it was only 1 week after owning the item and I have every right to return. I was shocked at the store assistant response blaming me for damaging the item refusing to rectify the issue and pointing at me shouting you have worn this haven't you. She refused to give me a refund to start. After having to stand my ground and demand the refund she finally gave up and agreed. She threw the card machine to me to enter the pin blamed me that she would now need to close the shop and throw my returned item into the box.

Please be warned that when your spending money here the owner so very nice and happy but as soon as there is a need to sort a return or refund she is not as nice and helpful.

I have always wanted to support local shop owners but unfortunately this experience has really made me worry.

What an unexpected find this shop is. Beautiful quality clothes, cleverly curated by the owner, who seems to know what will flatter your shape and suit your taste. It's a joy to go in there and quite the antidote to failed online shopping attempts, that so often end up in trips to the post office to send returns or keeping something that isn't quite right. The clothes are definitely investment pieces (they are expensive), but they are definitely some of the most worn and commented on items in my wardrobe.

My favourite shop, good job I live in Oxfordshire or I would be very poor. Make a pilgrimage here whenever I am in Devon, and treasure all the clothes I have bought here since 2004. Worth every penny as I always feel fabulous, style like this does go out of fashion, very highly recommended.
