Good pub and restaurant on the edge of Witney. Plenty of seating indoors, as well as a small rear deck with pleasant country views - outdoor seating at the front is adjacent to the car park and the road. Decent selection of dishes of good quality. Service was very good despite there being only a few staff on shift when I visited. Background music was kept at a level that didn’t interfere with conversation

Excellent Sunday carvery. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh & hot. Brilliant choice of meat & accompaniments. The cauliflower cheese - best we've had. Really good pudding menu to follow. Something for everyone. The team were brilliant. Karol at front of house was really attentive, happy and professional. Mia (I assumed the manager) was brilliant. Professional and so enthusiastic. The pub itself was fab. Clean and catered for everyone. Loved all the little touches for the children and dog. Thank you so much for a fantastic Mother's Day meal. You were busy and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. Keep up the good work. We'll be back 😁

Great pub, managed to fit us in for Sunday roast which was excellent. Good quality food, served piping hot. Service was also excellent. I would suggest an option to pay for an upgrade to your roast for a bigger size for those with bigger appetites. Would definitely return when back in the area

Lovely pub near Whitney. Decor inside is lovely and the Xmas decorations were very classy. I had bacon, brie and cranberry baguette with chips. The chips were proper thick cut, golden and crispy on outside and soft and fluffy in the middle...best pub chips I've had in a while. It's open plan so felt a little chilly so wear a warm jumper. There is a lovely black cat sauntering around but not a nuisance to anyone. I love cats but my son is allergic to them so just be aware of that. Staff were very friendly and I'd definitely visit again.

I came here on Easter Sunday for lunch with my partner and two Yorkshire terrier dogs. The website states that the pub is dog-friendly, but when we entered the waiter informed us that we had to sit outside, it was 12 degrees outside that day. We left!
