Had a lovely family meal for 14 (including children) at The Wheelhouse Restaurant, tasty food, lots of choice and welcoming atmosphere. Good choice of local ales, ciders and plenty of drinks to choose from at the bar. Book to avoid disappointment if in a group. Superb service & easy to split the food/drinks bill - we can't wait to visit again!

What a brilliant evening. After receiving such a warm welcome we had amazing food in a lovely atmosphere served at just the right pace with a smile.

Such a great place to eat! The food was insanely good as was the wine… We ordered king prawns to start which were amazing! Mains was the roast beef, chicken curries and a lasagna, just absolutely top notch food, amazing portions for the price and it tasted amazing! The pavlova for dessert was incredible, really tasty food. The staff were wonderful, kind and service was fast and polite, very friendly and highly recommended!

Amazing food!!

Had the Cornish breakfast and could not fault it! Local produce too so you can taste the quality.

Great area for prams and kids, as well as large groups!

Coffee was a lot better than standard as well.

The hostess managed to provide two covers before their bookings. The food was cooked to perfection, the scampi was the best I've had in a while, and the 10oz gammon steak was oozing flavour. Bread and butter pudding was heavenly and the apple and blackberry crumble was scrumptious.

Highly recommended restaurant! Parking is on street in the surrounding area and can be challenging around teatime.

What a gem in Minehead. First visit and have to say superb. Just really well cooked normal food accompanied by a great low key atmosphere. Service was great and menu to suit all tastes. Definitely book again.

Have been in here twice while we have been away. 1st day we had steak and kidney pie and lasagne which we both enjoyed. Tonight we had Gammon, egg and chips and Home cooked ham egg and chips which also was very nice. Service and staff was very good on both nights. Good atmosphere and reasonably priced

Sunday lunch was proper home cooked steak and kidney pie, yum! and amazing for Somerset, a restaurant that knows how to peel spuds and make REAL CHIPS! Home made bread and butter pudding with custard to follow😋
