I visited with my friend and our babies last week. After sitting down for 5 minutes, no one brought us a menu so we had to ask for one. We both ordered a panini which took 40 minutes to be served to us, despite me asking after about 25 minutes where our lunch was. When I went to pay the bill the lady at the till added on service charge without mentioning it so when I questioned it, she asked me if everything was ok. I advised not really as myself and my friend had waited 40 minutes for our paninis. The lady became very defensive and was aggressive in her tone telling me they cook everything fresh and this was a normal amount of time to wait for a panini. She did apologise for no one telling us that during busy periods food can take longer but we felt 40 minutes was an excessively long wait for a panini which she continually disagreed with. The staff all seemed very unfriendly and after very poor customer service, a long wait for overpriced food (panini was £9) which was very average I will not be visiting here again.

I recently popped in for breakfast on the way home from dropping off car to garage. Friendly chatty staff, nice atmosphere, hot food & drink. Didn't have to wait long for food.

Best bacon, brie and cranberry panini I've ever had. Lovely place, perfect for when you're looking for something different than the usual chains.

Nice little tea room, not generous in their portions for what you pay!
