This was a blast from the past for me. Like the sweet shops from my childhood, well apart from the prices. No more of those three for a penny sweets here. Anyway, The Sweet Emporium is located within Freeport in Hornsea and benefits from a large free carpark with many disabled bays. Surface is good as is the footpaths leading all round the shops making the going good for wheelchair users. The shop itself has a huge range of sweets including the American section. All a little overpriced sadly but if you want something you will pay the prices. Staff were helpful and polite.

Full of sweets and chocolate, many of which I recall having as a child too many decades ago. You could get a lot for a shilling then! Even so the Emporium's prices are quite reasonable I'd say. Friendly staff too. As with Mr Moo's, it's a favourite with my granddaughters - I can't imagine why!!

The sweets are good quality but unfortunately the staff have a bad attitude. I felt children are not welcome in the shop which makes the whole experience painful, if I hadn't have promised my son some sweets I would not have spent my money in this shop.
