Stunning hotel room with all amneties comfy bed great bathroom. Easy check in. Great bar and great prices in Wetherspoon pub. Really surprised how clean quality room. Right in the centre of Chesterfield. £10.00 per night car parking. Back soon.

Hotel review: Rooms great, clean, tidy and cosy with everything you need for a short stay, staff super friendly, room came with some biscuits which were ginger nut flavour and when I made a joke about not liking ginger, the kind lady on reception said have some of these choc chip biscuits and shortbread, well chuffed!
Bathroom great, lovely spacious walk in shower with rainfall head - might benefit from a curtain as some water does ultimately end up on the bathroom floor but apart from that there's shower gel and hand soap provisioned on the walls. a couple flights of steps down to the pub, all smiles down there, usual Wetherspoons affair, service great, bench seats could use a bit more padding though! Would happily stay again as it was right in the centre of the town.

A very good Wetherspoons. Plenty of space between tables and it was evident that someone was detailed to clean table once guests had left. Friendly staff, no surliness , and no one can be disappointed with the prices of food and drinks. Excellent ambience too

The wife and I have started going here recently and this is one of our favourite wetherspoons. The service can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but, strangely enough, it seems to be better when it's busier. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and most of the staff are friendly and accommodating. Definitely one of our go to regulars 👌

Imagine a bog standard wetherspoons pub and then add some extra crack heads, extra hostility from the locals and some warmer beer and you have pretty much summed up this place. I downed my pint to move elsewhere after being asked for change or a spare fag no less than 3 times into my first 2 sips of beer. Glad I didn't book as the hotel now.
Staff were pretty good though.

Popped in for food and a couple of beers! Ordered on the app, beer came really quickly, food follow 10 mins later! The Newcastle Brown was lovely and cold, and the Korean Chicken Bowls was spot on! Toilet as always ( well, nearly always) were upstairs!

Such a warm welcome by a lovely male member of staff in fact all staff welcoming . |So pleased with our room such a bargain and spotlessly clean . Tea coffee making facilities in abundance . Very smart bathroom and shower nice hand body wash couldn’t fault this place at all . Comfortable outside seating .

A brilliant practical stop if one is travelling up to the North ( or back ) .A short hop away from a good main road ,a comfy stay in a quiet central location .The room was spotless and a reasonable price( good old'Spoons) then a spectacular cheap breakfast in the pub downstairs ,teeming with locals!
