Visited today as I've recently started keeping fish again by order of my Granddaughter, bought nine fish and a few live plants, absolutely thrilled with the prices and the man that served me (owner) was very knowledgeable about all things fish and only too happy to help with any questions/queries, I'm happy to say I've now found my new go-to fish specialist and look forward to going again. 5⭐️+. Got my fish tank from here with my dad a few weeks ago and all the plants and a few fish. The gentleman that served me was very knowledgeable and helped me get all the correct stuff in place in order for my tank to work and so far I've had zero problems I will be going back for all of my tanks stuff in the future really good local pet store highly recommend.

Good selection of stuff for fish. Staff seem friendly and they know their stuff about aquatics! Nice that dogs are allowed in store too (we saw a few which was fun) and the staff seemed happy to help when asked.

Unfortunately, I am a bit concerned about the living conditions of the small animals and birds that live on the premises. It seems they are provided with the bare minimum in terms of environment and enrichment. The rabbit in particular was in a hutch that was too small (very low to the ground despite overhearing the assistant tell another customer it is frightened of dogs). The birds seem to be packed in small enclosures, they seemed stressed. Yes, it is an old store, dark and a bit run down but if they cannot provide an appropriate space for live animals, they should not be there. It is a shame because I can tell the store owners mean well and are trying their best!
