I visited the lakeside Lower Perfume shop today 26/3/2024
I was served by Amanda Collins who went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. Also beautifully wrapped two of my perfumes with a personalised red bow. I have to say I was very pleased with Amanda and her amazing attitude and smile. I can't wait to come back to this store.

Bought a really nice aftershave in person at the store, one I have not tried before and even got a 10% discount applied to my order based on my registered email address and also got pints added to my reward club card. So a win win. Thank you

I recently visited The Perfume Shop and was extremely impressed with the level of service provided. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me in finding the perfect fragrance. Additionally, I was impressed with the wide variety of perfumes available, with a range of different brands and scents to choose from. Overall, I had a great shopping experience at The Perfume Shop and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wide variety of fragrances and great customer service.

I ordered perfume for 30min click and collect yesterday and received an 'order ready for collection' email at 9am this morning. Great - or so I thought... I rushed to the store this evening amongst the mass of black Friday shoppers, to be told that they could not find my order. Another customer was having difficulties, so I was left waiting for over 30mins whilst that was sorted. When they finally attended to me, I was told that a member of staff must have pressed the wrong button to send me the ready for collection email as my order was actually on its way from the warehouse and I'd have to wait up to five days. I stressed that I had made the order via the 30min service to ensure I was able to gift it in two days time AND that the message to collect the order was the only reason I was in Lakeside. Both the manager and supervisor were very dismissive of the inconvenience the company's poor service had left me with and told me I'd have to re-buy the item and wait for the refund of my original order because if they gave me the item off the shelf their stock levels would be affected.
After at least another 30mins I left the store empty handed with instructions to contact customer service to SEE if they can cancel the order.

I totally understand that mistakes are sometimes made, but not one person apologised or tried to meet me in the middle with addressing the problem caused by their company.

I am so angry and frustrated I cannot even put it into words.

I had planned to stock up here for Christmas, but the perfume shop will never get another penny from me or mine.
