Missed off saveloy , chips undercooked .dint do gravy.

Really lovely staff, very friendly. The food was excellent. The chips were really dry and crisp. Generous portions. We are not from around here but would highly recommend this place.

Living in Spain we rarely get the chance to eat fish and chips in the car, even though we own a fish and chip restaurant. Last night we had lovely grub in the car with steamy windows. It's lovely to be welcomed by a team who clearly enjoy working together and who went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. Thanks everyone, we'll be back when we're next in town.

Lots of batter on the fish.My friend and I ordered at the same time 3xfish I had to wait outside for 5 mins after she got hers..we were clearly together as we arrived together wearing the same club clothes..won't return for a while..

After moving to Leicester in February I have struggled to find a good fish & chip shop and I stumbled on these a couple of weeks ago when my parents were visiting. After a few visits now I can honestly say this is probably one of the best chip shops I have ever visited. The food is cooked to perfection their fish is Absolutely gorgeous service is made with a smile and very polite .. this is a definite must for any fish and chip lover

Simply outstanding quality - and quantity is, in my opinion, excessive!
When I was a lad (and not that long ago) a cone of chips was 30p and enough for a quick lunch - a cone & ‘mini’ fish was almost too for dinner!
I can see why people travel far and wide to the Nook, it was the best fish & chips I have had in years.

We'd heard that this was the place to go. Unfortunately, it never lived up to the hype. The chips were so overly cooked we threw them away, the pie was nuked to a soggy mess, the sausages were ok.
Just spoken with the owner who explained to me the issues he faced on the night in question, we completely understand and will be eating there again soon and we are sure the food will be up to the quality they are renowned for.
