We stopped at The Moorhen at Horning Monday - Friday my first time on The Norfolk Broads!!! And it won't be my last!! Well what can I say an absolute amazing time we had stopping at this gem of a B&B!! From start to finish we were made so very welcome from Josie and Neil they could do enough for us!! Our accommodation was second to none we stopped in The Garden room which was amazing a huge Kingsize double bed and beautifully decorated with French doors onto the garden. Fresh towels every day aswell as fresh coffee milk etc they just couldn't do enough for you!! Breakfast was lovely too service was amazing!! Right in the middle of everything 3 pubs and across the road the beautiful river with boats Missispi Boat trip throughally reccomend!! Free parking across the road too was a huge bonus too!! All in all an amazing stay and we will be back next year for definite!! Thank you so much Neil & Josie xxxx

We just had a three night stay in coot cabin, which was perfect for a Family of 5. Very comfortable beds, a small kitchen, fridge, microwave and hob, and a table and chairs to sit at if you bring a local takeaway back. The cabin was cleaned daily, restocked tea and coffee and towels.| The hosts Neil and Josie cannot do enough for you. They are a lovely couple and made us the most wonderful breakfast every morning, cooked to order and the options were endless! The b and b is opposite the river, next to the shops and walking distance to three pubs! We would highly recommend to anyone and we cannot wait to visit again.

we stayed in the Coot Cabin on a recent trip up to a local attraction. It was perfect for our needs. slept all 5 of us in a very nice clean and welcoming space. Neil and Josie welcomed us when we checked in and showed us to the room. Breakfast the next morning was great. filled us up for the next days adventure. the kids have not stopped going on about the scrambled egg!! Defiantly recommend this place. will be looking to book again if we head up to this stunning part of the country.

Full marks all round for a wonderful bed & breakfast. We stayed in the Garden Room for 2 nights & throughly enjoyed all thatThe Moorhen Guest House had to offer. Super comfy & roomy bed, good shower & delightful room setting. The breakfast choices & quality of food on offer is fabulous. Josie's homemade yoghurt is delicious. The hosts are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble. They seem to really enjoy their life as B&B hosts. Looking forward to returning soon.

The Hosts are friendly, helpful and accommodating, the breakfasts were good, the coffee/tea in the rooms were replenished and the bins emptied etc. However cleanliness and maintenance need some attention, especially in the bathroom we used. |Horning is lovely place and as for parking, you can pay or hope a free spot opens up. I would recommend the Swan Inn for food.

Stayed in the Salhouse Room at The Moorhen, for 5 nights, with my husband and our puppy. |On arrival, Neil welcomed us and showed us to our room. Our room was clean and comfortable with an extra large king sized bed, good quality bedding and towels, and a selection of coffees and teas plus some long life milk sachets and biscuits. These were replenished daily together with towels, toilet paper and bins emptied. Fresh milk was available to be taken from the fridge in the breakfast room, in thermos jugs placed on top of fridge.|The Salhouse Room has French doors opening onto the garden which has tables and chairs for guests to use. One morning, we overslept and missed breakfast, and Josie kindly served coffee, tea and toast in the garden.|Breakfast is sourced from local suppliers and the choice is extensive and freshly cooked to order by Neil.|We parked outside The Moorhen on a single yellow line to unload and load the car, and moved it a short distance away for free long term parking. Neil showed me where to park, and carried our bags to and from our car on arrival and departure.|Neil provides much useful information about the local area, places to visit for day trips and public transport.|Everything about The Moorhen B&B is high quality and good value but Neil & Josie are the best of all. They greeted us like we were old friends and looked after us like we’ve never experienced before.|We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Neil and Josie are the perfect hosts - welcoming, full of help, serving a wonderful breakfast. Neil helped us to organise bike and boat rental.
The garden room was nice, wonderful to rest in the garden and enjoy the afternoon sun after a day full of activities.

Just had five excellent night's at The Moorhen. A lovely homely B&B run by Jose and Neil who couldn't be more helpful and friendly owners. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and plentiful. Well worth a visit.|The only slight drawback is I think parking might be a bit tight during the popular summer months.
