* dog friendly * I've cycled past this hundreds of times and never registered it before. Wow! What a beautiful pub. Two floors, vaulted ceiling, fireplaces, lovingly restored building. Set on a lovely little pond the Mill House sits on top of a water wheel which you can see from inside the pub. In the summer I bet this place is stunning. Enough about that, the atmosphere, food, service excellent. We had the camembert to start, lamb and pie for mains and banana waffle to finish. Plenty of parking and impressively the menu boasts 6 low alcohol beers and ciders. We've already booked another visit. Might be back again for the dog walk (3rd Saturday). Just off Hook J5 on the M3. Book ahead.

What an amazing place. The staff and atmosphere is outstanding. The food is incredible and caterers for varying dietary needs. The best gluten free fish and chips we had in a long time. Would definitely recommend and will return.

We had a great visit to this pub, we've driven past a few times and thought it would be nice to call in. Great old pub with very good food. Will call in again when in the area. The outside area looks great even mid winter.

The service was very good (considering it was really busy we got our food promptly), the food was incredible and the pub is so beautiful. This was the best nut roast I've ever had, the deserts were incredible and the Christmas cocktails were so festive. We did 3 different pub Christmas meals around the area, and this one stood out and was actually cheaper. We also got vouchers to use in the new year!

🏆 I had a wonderful lunch here, great service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend! The decor is beautiful and the watermill features retained. Sunday Roast is excellent!

Wow! What a find this was! A pub full of history and character. We travelled nearly an hour to visit this pub from a recommendation from a family member, and we were not disappointed!
From the mill running through the pub, to the amazing decor, I’d highly recommend this to anyone!
Service was 10/10 and the same can be said for the food, keep up the great work!

Oh my god what a beautiful place! The river / lake is absolutely stunning with ducks bobbing about.
The food was delicious serving up a real treat for my wife who was recently diagnosed as coeliac- they are a fully accredited pub for coeliacs, the perfect place for her to eat.
I didn’t get the chance to photograph the dishes as they were gobbled up in no time.
We live an hour away but was informed by the staff member they are a chain and one is located near to us. To be honest we are happy to travel the hour to this place to enjoy food in this setting anyway. Inside was beautiful timber beams and a window you can see the original water wheel. All excellent- we will return soon
