We had a charity shop day and visited almost every single one on the high street. This was definitely one of the most interesting ones. Lots of vintage goodies. Ain’t cheap but definitely a place to visit for some very interesting stuff, such as a creepy baby doll head or Victorian poison bottle. It was sold empty, unfortunately. ?

I totally agree with other reviewers about one lady being rather unhelpful bordering on rude but I still go in whenever I can as its such a lovely shop. You never know what you are going to find and the prices are reasonable. Good selection of chalk paints too and other vintage type items. I have given 5 stars to the shop rather than the unhelpful lady. Most of the staff are great.

The shop is lovely, bright and cheerful
The lady who was serving that day and probably everyday - was not so bright and cheerful.
She was curt and aggressive, customer relations is obviously not her strong point - I didn’t have my glasses and asked the price of something, she wasn’t polite at all and I felt very upset, belittled and embarrassed.
I liked the shop, but I will only go in , f she’s not there ...

Wide choice of quality clothing at great prices as well as designer items. Staff are lovely - helpful and friendly to customers, as well as great to deal with when I bring in clothing to sell. Well worth a visit in a high st lacking in variety.
