A delightful tea room. Visited with a large family group for a birthday celebration. The food is great, tasty sandwiches, yummy cakes & the warm home made scones are delicious 😋 The atmosphere is lovely and cosy but without feeling cramped at all. The staff are all lovely & very attentive without being intrusive. The service is spot on. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Deserving of 5 stars, the staff were extremely friendly. The building it's self is clean and tidy, I really like the floor. The food is fresh and made to order. The coffee is good, not the strongest, dairy alternatives cost extra but atleast they are catered for.

There were some pancakes left over and they boxed them up for us. The staff are fabulous what a really nice bunch of people so polite and friendly.

Husband and I have been here many times before during the day for breakfast or lunch, and always had a great meal. The food is always great, but it is often quite noisy when it’s busy. However, last night was an evening event for Valentine’s Day. The place had been transformed! No longer a busy cafe with lots of chatter, hustle and bustle - but an intimate, softly lit setting for a romantic meal. We had preordered the food, which all arrived at just the right pace and was of excellent quality. Couldn’t fault it and will certainly be keeping en eye out for the next event.

We went to the The Laughing Pear for a Valentine’s Day special. The atmosphere was superb, the service was sublime and the food was some of the best we have ever eaten. Portion size is amazing and we definitely left with full bellies. We would highly recommend to anybody look for a great meal.

My first time and it certainly won’t be my last. Unfortunately I live over 120 miles away. There were 5 of us eating and we all had something different and we all enjoyed it so much. I was the only one not local and hopefully I will be back soon. The service was exceptional and nothing too much trouble. The atmosphere was lively but not too noisy. I honestly would go for breakfast once a week if I lived close . Just fabulous.

Popped into The laughing pair on the off chance yesterday and wasn't disappointed. The lady was able to find us a table without reservation and being busy. We had a fish finger sandwich a d cheeseburger and chips and the food was delicious. Portions were very generous and great value for money. Would definitely return especially for the pancakes!

Went here for the Festive Afternoon tea with my parents, niece and great nephew. Two of our group are vegan. Some places give you less for a vegan option, but not here - both tea versions were outstanding! The team were really accommodating for our booking, and super friendly. Would definitely recommend 😊

A very lovely place to come and have a relaxing Sunday breakfast. Their veggie sausages are tasty. Always a consistently great breakfast at The Laughing pear. Compliments to the chefs that work here. Friendly service. Good quality food. Their lunchtime menu looks good aswell. There cakes are very very yummy.
