The Knit Lounge has a wonderfully curated selection of yarns and I loved all the knitted samples around the shop - so inspiring!

I usually have to shop online as I don’t have a local yarn shop so it was a real treat to see everything in person when we made a stop at the Knit Lounge on our way home from a trip to Farnham.

We also went for tea and cake across the road at the Red Rose Tea Room on Sarah’s recommendation and were not disappointed!

I highly recommend a trip to this gem of a shop. I discovered it this summer and now I buy all my yarn here. Sarah has curated a fantastic range with a broad spectrum of colours, brands and fibres. She’s also given me invaluable advice on what will work best with the projects I’m starting. The shop is packed with Sarah’s own inspiring knits and I’ve now started one of her workshops. My only disappointment is that I don’t live closer but I’ve signed up to her newsletter and I’ve had same day turnaround on all the yarns I’ve bought from the website. If you’re looking for inspiration, this place won’t disappoint.

So friendly and welcoming and a beautiful, calming and inspiring space. My first visit there today and Sarah helped me work out appropriate yarns for a pattern I had a vague idea of trying, and gave so much advice and help. I cannot wait to return and have already told friends to visit. A wonderful local find!

The Knit Lounge is a great shop, stocks lovely yarn and accessories. Have done a class which was great fun and Sarah is very knowledgeable and patient. Knit nights are good fun. Looking forward to visiting lots more in 2025.
