Lovely breakfast this morning nicely cooked and hot. Great service seated quickly and order taken by fantastic waiting staff. Coffee brought quick and decent cuppa. Not the cheapest but I had just half an hour before my train and this quirky place met all requirements. Nice venue in the basement of a church with open kitchen and separate drinks area.

What a hidden gem! - myself & a couple friends booked for afternoon tea this week - we discovered they do gluten free for myself - a rare bonus !

- staff are absolutely amazing - I was so well catered too & all for 10 Inc a pot of tea! What a dream.

Everything was amazing, from walking in to leaving.

We all agreed how amazing it was 🥰.

We've booked to return in a couple weeks too. 🙌 10/10 highly recommend.

Went here this morning for an overpriced small breakfast. The bacon was pre cooked and not the best sitting in a bain-marie, although we were the only people in. The sausage was good but more of a chipolata style. Would I go again, probably not as you can find much better around in the town a cheaper price. All in all 2 small breakfasts one cup of tea and one coffee £31.50.
I would say the service was faultless.

To say this is part of the church and all should be welcome, news flash, not everyone is! Don’t get me wrong, the place is stunning, arches everywhere, but both the staff and customers looked at us like we had three heads each! The clientele is an older crowd but staff aren’t. Food basic and again for the older clientele. If you like being glared at because you might not fit the narrative, and you like bland food, this is the place.

The breakfast was half decent however the price knocks this down to one star , £21 for a “extra large” breakfast (that was far from “extra large” ) absolute day light robbery. Hop in the car and go to Bolster moor or Brosters far nicer , far more scenic and you get to enjoy a well priced breakfast that isn’t located in the degenerate epicentre of Huddersfield. To say this is located in a Church too is just shameful , get your prices in order!

On our first visit here we enjoyed an excellent lunch. We had fish and chips followed by tiramisu. Returned for an afternoon tea which was magnificent and quite substantial - a selection of sandwiches, home made scones and cakes with a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Marvellous place for a meal or afternoon tea in Huddersfield town centre. It's located in the crypt of a church and fairly popular throughout the day. The large breakfast and cappuccino I got was really tasty. They have entertainment evenings with meal included throughout the year. It's also got a shop and toilets. The staff are very pleasant and efficient.

All I can say is the food was really nice came out warm, staff was really polite and helpful but the manager in the officer was RUDE as we left and the way he spoke to his staff, definitely doesn’t have a wife the way he acts anyhow won’t be back all because the way the manager acted.
