Love this bookshop, always visit when staying in Holt a few times a year. My teenage son loves it too, always find something a bit different in there. Visited this lovely bookshop for the first time today. Wonderful selection of books, including a great variety of local titles. Having moved to the area recently, this bookshop will be one I will continue to visit. The stock is very nicely displayed and the staff were very pleasant. 5 stars.

I think I may have visited at the wrong time. Felt most unwelcome and uncomfortable, the couple in the shop (the owners?) were having a discussion that didn't seem to be going well. On the plus side, there was a fantastic selection of books but I didn't have the confidence to approach the til with any purchases, I felt I would be a tiresome intrusion.

We visited Holt for the first time last year and loved your bookshop. A great choice of books. We are visiting Holt tomorrow and your shop is at the top of the list to visit….even though the last thing we need is more books.

A great little bookshop with a surprisingly large variety for the amount of floor space they have. The shop is clean and feels spacious and had plenty of room to manoeuvre a double pushchair around. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. I would give it five stars but unfortunately they didn't have anything that I was after personally (graphic novels or hardback Terry Pratchett collection)- the rest of my family were happy with their purchases though.
