Just had a 3 night stay at The Hive and we had a good experience. The beds were comfortable. There are two shared toilets with showers which we had no issues when we needed to use. The shared area which a breakfast is laid out, was enough and nice touch. The only thing is some people had issue with the front door, which is easy when you know how, advice when turning the key pull the door towards you. We will definitely stay again.

Booked this last minute for 1 night. It's a little further from the centre but was lovely and quiet. The rooms were very nicely decorated, very comfortable. There are 2 shared toilets with showers and washing facilties which were spotlessly clean. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the nice big kitchen area along with biscuits and fruit. Loads of books to read with comfy armchairs. We opted for breakfast for the morning. Toast, pastries, fruit and Cereal were on offer along with fruit juices, and tea and coffee. The owner was on site in the morning and showed me round the rest of the building, which is an ex pub. He plans to renovate the remaining area. Will definitely go back again.

The Hive is situated in a good location in Great Yarmouth, near the beach. The room was nice as well as the bathrooms. However, the bunk bed is not suitable for adults as it made a lot of noises when we move. Overall it’s a good experience and an affordable option.

Behind the unassuming exterior is a spacious, modern B&B at an extremely affordable price and great location - only thing to look out for is the shared bathrooms but everything else was excellent.

Very clean, comfortable beds friendly and good service. Good location, literally opposite the beach. About a 20 minute walk to the marine parade and sea life centre. Definitely recommend and will stay again!

Best stay. I can’t really praise enough. Cozy room, lovely variety of breakfast. Spotless clean. Parking just front of the door. And just a stone throw away from the pier. Highly recommended.
