Simply put, one of the finest clothing stores in the UK. Suitable for almost all ages.

The guys and girls who work here aren't just working here, they are part of something special. Whatever you need to know about a garment they know about the history and evolutuon of each brand, materials used, the manufacturing process, the whole shebang.

The mens and womans wear departments have numerous brands to cater for almost all budgets. The homewear section has many wonderful things also.

The store is situated smack bang in the middle of The Square, surrounded by numerous coffee houses, eateries, and Cathedral Gardens and there are a number of parking options nearby.

The only downside is difficuly in access for those with mobility issues, with several flights of stairs to navigate without any apparent facilites on site to aid such access. This said i am 100% certain that the staff would go above and beyond for anyone visiting regardless of mobility. They would bring the item to you im sure (if found online.)

Well done to all the staff at The Hambledon and a big shout out to Rob and all the guys in menswear. You set the standard for gentlemens clothing and customer service.

If you like good quality footwear and clothing you must go here. A solid 5 star service and beyond...

Exquisite boutique department store, offering up the finest in design, you'll find womenswear pieces from Sea, Becksondergaard, Bellerose, and menswear items including carhart WIP, Universal Works and Colourful Standard. Some great nicnacks and home decor too.

Received a phone call from a lovely Man called Richard this morning after I had ordered 2 cardigans in the same size, just checking that I hadn’t made a mistake, because as he so rightly pointed out, it could be that I wanted 2 different sizes, what lovely Customer Service, thank you Richard for taking the trouble to call me, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it 🤗🤗🤗

This is my favourite shop ever in the whole world. It is everything I need in my life in one room! The perfect place for gifts!

There is a great selection of Meri Meri party kits as well as iron on badges and Jewell’s etc. There is a small section with wrapping paper and cards, an area for quirky and traditional toys. Also on the ground floor, you’ll find beauty products, homeware and books.

In the basement they have a small men’s department with some good brands. And on the first floor you’ll find a large selection of women’s wear, all very different and beautiful but will cost you an arm and a leg!

Shoes from an online order arrived quickly. The packaging was excellent and hand written note was a very nice touch.

I was idly browsing for a Steamery lint brush (as you do) and it was available here so I ordered a couple (they are very good) and threw in a couple of attractive glass candlesticks for good measure. Comms were excellent, the items arrived really quickly and beautifully wrapped, along with a handwritten note. Everything was so well packaged that when I immediately dropped the box as the courier was handing it to me the fragile items were fine. Would love to visit the store IRL but browsing the lovely site is the next best thing. Thank you!

Upmarket shop with niche items for fashion and homeware. The price is high to reflect the quality of the items. Staff are knowledgeable. Only reason it’s 4 stars is due to the fact there was an online discount however I was charged full price in store
