I live not too far from the hut and went down the other day to see what he has, I wanted some of the fishcakes and maybe something else. The gentleman inside was very pleasant and welcoming and after exchanging a few pleasantries we started making the order, 12 fishcaked and a bag of shelled prawns, lovely, so I took out my phone and he said, I always get worried when someone pulls out their phone, Why, I asked. We only take cash came the reply, but I don't use cash, well you can always go down the road and get some and come back. I am 68 years old and I have made the switch to 2025 and the electronic life, do they not realise how much lost trade they are doing because as you get to the ATM in East Wittering just across the road is another fishmonger. My daughter in law did get some fish cakes from the hut and they were wonderful but I will not be traipsing to the high street to get cash to come back down to the hut. They really need to join the 21st century, cash is dead and apart from being a tax loss who carries cash these days.

Sunday Lunch today. Au point Chef. As good as it gets. The Chef cares. Roast Lamb all the trimmings. Great depth of flavour.

Found this little place by accident and what a gem it is!!
All products are frozen but so fresh and tasty.
We had fish cakes, 2 cod fillets and some king prawns.
Following week we had the same but double portions as we had told our family how lovely it was and they wanted to try! Highly recommend

Great to see the Hut open for the Summer fresh caught fish varies dependant on what owner has as his catch of the day. Frozen fish also available which is excellent quality especially the Cod and the shell on prawns have the best flavour of any prawns I have ever bought.

Bought some lovely black bream that had been swimming around happily only a few hours before. Good value too. Also had some very nice prawns and crab.
