I love the Cutting Company - been going for many years. All staff are always very friendly kind efficient and helpful and use fabulous products. Never pushy to buy items but give professional, helpful advice and suggestions. A bit on the expensive side but worth it - definitely get what you pay for. A beautiful, clean and modern salon.
Lydia always does an amazing job on my hair whether it be cut or colour, always has great suggestions and always helps with styling tips.
Rosie has been fabulous too with all my beauty treatments - always happy to help me with any issues.
A wonderful salon, always a great experience. Thank you ladies!
PS my daughter who has now moved away from the area still says to me that she can’t find a salon anywhere that matches the Cutting Company’s professionalism and standards. Like Mother like Daughter!

Love to get my hair done here with Beckie , she is very friendly and knowledgeable and always amazes me that she remembers details about me and my hair as she obviously sees a lot of clients, plus she puts up with my non stop chatter. She knows what I like now which is very handy when I come back every 8 weeks. The facilities are immaculate and I feel very relaxed here.
Sharon is amazing on the front desk always a smiling face when you come through the front door and on many occasion when I forget or rearrange my appointment she always manages this with a small on her face and a no problem attitude.

My first time having any kind of treatment like this and I can safely safe that it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Charlotte was such a lovely therapist and made sure I was comfortable with every step of my treatment. There was calming music playing and the room was set out beautifully. Not once did I feel uncomfortable and I really enjoyed the treatment all round. Definitely recommend going to the cutting company, especially to book with Charlotte!

After being dissatisfied with my previous hairdresser, I read the staff profiles on the Cutting Company website and decided to book an appointment with Lydia.
I saw her for a consultation in January, after which I took the plunge and booked an appointment for a cut and colour.
As my hair had been previously cut much too short, there wasn’t a lot of scope for change but Lydia was fantastic in listening to what I wanted, restyling and shaping without going any shorter.
The colour is spot on, the style needs a little bit of tweaking next time but I am so pleased with how easy it is to do myself.
I can’t praise her enough.

From the moment you enter the salon, the team are welcoming and conscientious. Cathy always starts with a lovely consultation, the offer of a delicious drink and biscuits, and then she works her magic - explaining and advising what’s best before starting. Beckie is a colour genius, whether it’s on my vivids or more ‘traditional’ colours. She just ‘knows’ colour and spends so much time working with you to get the look you want. The salon is lovely and all the staff are a pleasure to work be around. Vivids are a commitment and it’s not a cheap hair option, which is why the advice and products that Beckie recommends are actually a game-changer for keeping the brights popping until the next appointment. I love taking a book and leaning in to an appointment where I feel welcomed and relaxed.
