Very lovely. Staff were wonderful- we even got a free sausage for our dog! Very nice food and very reasonable prices. The pecan, maple and banana french toast was very very nice.

Lovely lively atmosphere but also fine when meeting up with friends. Excellent service and tasty coffee. Food is great quality but especially outstanding when cooked by Lisa!

Visited twice over the weekend when we were in the area. Wish we lived locally! The sausage sandwiches are simply the best we have ever tried. The bread was divine and the portions extremely generous. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate is first class. Prices very reasonable indeed and excellent service too. Look forward to visiting again to try some other things on the menu

Called in for the first time as on holiday, lovely welcome. Had coffee which was delicious. Dog friendly too. Staff were really friendly. It was very busy, saw some of the food coming out it looked amazing. Definitely recommend and if back in the area we will definitely return.

I really enjoyed a brilliant sausage sandwich early this morning at Curious Cafe. A nice warm welcome from staff. I didn't need to wait long. Perfectly cooked. I would definitely be back. Highly recommended.

the hotel chocolate here is the best. i got the white hot chocolate and it was amazing, sweet but not too sickly it was the perfect amount.

Visited twice in the last few weeks on the way back from York. This is a very pretty cafe with a few outdoor tables. Their tea is delicious. The tea-cakes are divine, and the quiche and salad is excellent. Reasonable prices too. And the little brownie served on the side with our tea was the best I’ve ever tasted. Well worth a visit.

Eggs and bacon on toast doesn't get much better than this!
Everything is about this place was fantastic, good coffee, good food, good atmosphere! Definitely worth another visit next time I'm in the area! Staff super friendly and accommodating!
