Had a lovely lunch here today. The weather was appalling so decided to treat ourselves to a pub lunch. After looking at reviews for pubs in the area we settled on The Craven Heifer and I’m so pleased we did. A lovely warm welcome from the owner who offered us a couple of seating options to accommodate me and my wife, two children and a dog. My son and I went for the steak and ale pie which was amazing! I’m very picky with my meat and don’t like fatty bits but I didn’t need to worry. Beautiful, tender meat in a rich gravy and with the best chips I’ve ever had in a pub. Apparently the landlady does them herself by hand and is particularly proud of them and rightly so. They were fabulous. My wife had scampi which she really enjoyed and my younger, fussy son had the chicken nuggets. He finished the lot which says speaks volumes to how good they were.

A big thank you to The Craven Heifer for making a wet and windy day much brighter. We won’t hesitate to call again when we are in the area.

Popped in today for a pub lunch and couldn’t fault it. The food was more reasonably priced than other pubs we’d seen and was great! All seemed to be made in house and cooked fresh and was very tasty indeed - highly recommend the heifer burger with homemade onion rings and hand cut chips - yum!
Bonnie the dog was a lovely friendly addition too.

Visited this pub twice whilst staying in Ingleton. Best in the area in our opinion. Enjoyed a few pints of lager and several games of free pool!! Returned specially to try the food the following day and was not disappointed. We had chicken bites in bbq sauce loaded fries with lashings of melted cheese. |Very impressed by the thoughtful toiletries in the Ladies loos, such a lovely touch...Very friendly staff. Seemed a popular pub for the locals. Hopefully we will return some day 💯

From my first setting foot inside this very welcoming and charming pub I had a very good feeling.|The landlord was immediately very attentive and I selected a beautiful pint of Thwaites Gold.|Having studied the food menu The Craven Mixed aGrill was my choice.|The pub is run by a lovely couple with a small white dog named Bonnie. It is just like being welcomed into someone's home.|The food was cooked expertly by the landlady.|It was very reasonably priced at £21.95.|This was a meal fit for a king.||In summary this establishment is highly recommended. If you are in the area you really must visit.

We spent the night in a twin room. On arrival the pub was a bit busy but the landlord took the time to welcome and show us the room. The room was clean and the en-suite whilst not the biggest was clean and functional.

After a great night's sleep the full English breakfast was really good.

We would certainly stay again.

Very friendly barman, cook and resident dog, Bonnie. We hadn't booked a table for a Friday Lunch for 6 people but we got seated straight away. A lovely real fire crackling to warm us up. The menu was decent with all the usual staples and the food was absolutely spot on. Nicest burger I've had in a long while. The pub seems to be divided into two main indoor areas, the Lounge (incorporting the restaurant) and the Bar (eith pool table, darts & Sky TV. Ideal for hungry/ thirsty walkers or tourists to Ingleton wanting great no-frills pub and grub!!

Absolutely fantastic! The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was immaculate and the shower was powerful - perfect for after a hike!
